Abathur's symbiote does not hit the meele minions, if cast symbiote at a gate

Hey there

a player on the EU-Server report the following Bug with abathur’s symbiote:

He cast symbiote on the gate, use the shield and then Spike Burst to kill the enemy minion wave.

But Spike Burst ignore the meele minions and doesn’t hit them.

Can you check this please?
