Your team gets li ming, kael thas, sgt hammer, lili brightwing or ana
completely roflstomps the enemy team making it utterly unrewarding and effortless
Their team gets guldan, li ming, kaelthas and utterly roflstomps your team
your healer doesnt pick one, you get stomped
someone dies 25 times, you get stomped
someone gets mad and leaves after 30 seconds, or AFKs the selection and leaves you with a bot and you get stomped
amazingly fun game mode. can brawl be something else plz ?
I think you and I have different definitions of “typical”

this happens more often than not = typical
its a normal hots aram experience
a general experience
an example of a usual experience
etc
the rare experience is where everyone has characters that are not broken on ARAM and its actually a pretty good game.
Random != balanced
Also some of those are just a case of players being
, something you can see in every mode
You can’t nerf or buff player stupidity.

since when is random balanced? This game needs to take parts of what makes ARAM in LoL better than this - miles better - like being able to trade characters or reroll the ones you get if you get screwed over.
add game gives your team tassadar vs ana as main healer to the list of typical BS that it feeds you
theres nothing balanced about it at the moment. a key few characters are insanely OP in this mode. having 5 characters all together all the time makes li ming kaelthas guldan even alarak zuljin extremely powerful which means when people see those characters in the 3 they get they pick them. which means you see a lot of games where one team has multiples of the good characters and the other team has total garbage. thats incredibly lopsided. being able to trade and reroll your characters would at least give everyone a shot at getting one of those characters to have an actual competitive match up instead of roflstomp after roflstomp.
i wouldnt even be ranting ab out this if it wasnt on the brawls every single week running since like december last year. if this rarely popped up i wouldnt care but its basically a staple in the game now and its broken beyond belief.
And then there are those 5v5 assassin games which takes 45 minutes+ and you want to tear all your hair out.

All the combos you mentioned have combos. Part of the magic of aram is not knowing what you’re going into. Yeah some heroes like Zul’jin and Ming are top tier no matter what but then rock paper scissors also comes into play. Aram is not a complete random though, your choices are mirrored on the enemy team. If your team has the option for 4 healers, so does the enemy. If your team is predominantly melee, so is the enemy team. Maybe your ranged assassin is Tracer and their’s is Kael and one is obviously a superior choice on Aram but there is still a choice. I will say the triple Ming or triple Zarya or triple Meph are extremely fun is completely one sided. That said there are counters. I remember one game we were vs Zuljin, Valla Anub but we had double Lili so we went double blind and we pulled out a win or you go against hammer but you have Ming or Orphea or you go against a Butcher but you have a Medivh or a BW. Or you Have Artanis vs Ana, or any AA hero. The list goes on and on and mostly my frustration isn’t in the randomness but in peoples ignorance. But I still love the mode even if people don’t realize Gazlowe is a top tier pick and illidan is the worst decision of your life. Cheers

It is a fun mode, sometimes wacky teams work, other times standard comps are better. In my experience people say play what you want. i dont see that many leavers or people who complain other than saying, we had bad choices.
“!=” in math literally means “NOT equal to”.
I was saying it’s not balanced since it’s random
it’s true that most of the aram games I’ve played are lopsided, but few are as lopsided as you seem to be implying. A clear advantage usually doesn’t present itself until one team reaches level 16.
