A night like every night. I click on “Ready”, wait a bit so the game can find me some fellow players to spend a moment with, and then…
Nothing.
The “Ready” button is unclicked, the chat is filled with a three-lines automatic message , and I can wait forever for that well-known game-launching sound.
My point is simple: I clicked to play, why do I have to click again just because somewhere someone I do not know about may have had a connection issue?
Either it is a bug or a functionality. And I cannot imagine anyone ever thought it would be a good idea to voluntarily make the players click several times for something they already ask for.
Please, if I am wrong then explain me the advantage of such an option, and either way just modify the code line that will remove this yet little but actual hinderance in such an enjoyable game.
You could have posted this for discussion on the general chat because this is not a bug.
Yeah, it is really annoying that they don’t have priority queue instantly when the match you were supposed to play doesn’t happen because someone disconnected. Last night I waited 1200 sec to find a storm league match, then someone disconnected and I had to wait another 800 sec to find another match.
I wish they implement a feature to instant queue again and put you into priority when these things happen.
I am not asking for any priority. I nuderstand there are constraints in the queue algorithm that demand some time to be solved.
But I cannot see the need for the players to click again. Where is the need to make players click two, three or even four times for something they wanted to do only once?
(By the way, I wonder how many times on average one has to click to play a game…)
