I want to share my experience of 14 thousand games. Briefly about myself: solo player, a flex ( + play at almost all heroes), was everywhere from rank 10 to diamond, except for master and gml, although I played against them more than once. It is my prefering build , it allou me spam also by E :

Health Funnel
Bound by Shadow
Horrify
Fell Armour
Ruinous Affliction
Haunt
Maybe later, I will throw in some more builds for other heroes. P.s. I am guided only by my personal experience, I do not like to use meta, I prefer to analyze it myself - it is more interesting.
P.S. As for the W build, in my opinion it is needed for solo, gank, roam and duels. That is, ye either stand solo on a lane (Gul’dan is solo laner, which not everyone knoweth about this), or patrol (roam) along lanes, gank.
Ruinous Affliction on 16 is still the preferred choice but unfortunately 1-4-7-13 Life Drain ends up being the smarter and superior choice. While FULL Corruption can be particularly devastating I wouldn’t really call it reliable and for me at least it doesn’t work well unless you’ve completely outdrafted the other team.
Understandable. Obj fight in good Guldan map is near lane. So consume minion for burst heal, quickie globe, etc for 4. More bursty for 7 (Guldan is already good for sustain). And for 13, the winning play. It’s not in a winning nature to assume being dead often, but try to position and not die in the first place with higher hp.
Not my taste to go 4 succ when not going succ build. 7, I like that talent too (cdr for E build, yes, please). 13, simply depends on enemy comp so.
With the help of Q, thou canst rollback the cooldown of E. P.s. In other words, thou are not only spamming Q, but also spamming E. In my opinion, the benefit is obvious. Not to mention that most players now completely ignore magic( spell, energy) armor.
You can, but unless it hits everyone two or more times it is essentially worthless so just taking extended range on Felfire could perform just the same. I’m not a 14k games played enthusiast but if you want burst, many other characters work better.
Hold on, I thought it was clear this is 2023. You don’t just go around thinking for yourself and making the most reasonable build for your playstyle/personality/enjoyment. You watch twitch streamers and let them do all the thinking for you. Please conform and then report back.
If we are going to be using the word REASONABLE, wouldn’t it be just as REASONABLE to expect someone posting an incoherent talent list try to explain why they believe their contribution makes sense, maybe even attempt to point out something others are not aware of or may have completely missed?
In the last Sylvanas discussion I mentioned how Possession is the better alternative to equally popular Unstable Poison and one would have taken me seriously because the raw numbers speaks for themselves until I mentioned how Possession acts as a pseudo-taunt which distracts all other enemy minions and how useful this could be in saving buildings from a swarm.
No. They only said it was their preferred build, so it’s reasonable for them. I guess if you hate individuality then only the best build should be allowed…sounds fun. As for me, I’d try their build and see if it worked. Reading a novella wouldn’t help if the build didn’t fit my playstyle.
This is what I call my “hybrid build” (except I like circle at 20 and flex at 13). My “standard” build would be the one linked here but with HS at 13.
I do generally like this hybrid build and probably use it more than the standard, BUT never seem to do as well as when I just go W build (point and click for the win )
