35 minute game 1 fort, 1 objective, 16-50 kills FUUUUUUUN!

Come on blizzard, there has to be a point you can just surrender say 10 minutes. We spent 20 minutes turtling our core…was not fun, they had a fenix and val that just farmed us, hammer, memphisto, and chromie, we didn’t have a healer or comparable range, GG GG GG only reason we stayed in it is rag clearing lanes. This is one example of many many mnay many lopsided games. I don’t like being on the other side too. This wasn’t an example of far more skilled team, it was an example of a hopeless comp…a small narrow map (spider) that favored the ranged and val…10 minutes you can surrender vote and move on, not 35 minutes of when will it end…

We also need a way to surrender when we have 1 or more bots for a certain period of time (as in, the other player hasn’t come back within say 5 minutes or something).

It’s funny b/c 2 of my last 3 games now have had someone on my team leave almost immediately and then I spent 15m dying a slow, painful death.

I DO? Please cite, are you going to contribute to this thread or just troll?, PS not specifically about losing about long hopeless games, maybe actually I dunno read the thread before commenting…

I do not want surrender. It’s horrible. It just makes losers have a ‘valid’ reason to start griefing; first objective fight and you lose. Then one guy goes “Surrender at 10 minute mark” and goes semi afk. Then gets mad when the rests still think they can win.

Yep, last 3 games I just played in ranked:

Had a stitches running hots on a kmart special computer or something, continually leaving and entering leaving and entering. There should be some type of stress measurement put onto the user side during the waiting period… If it fails, you don’t get to play ranked. Nbd though, he was only the tank. He then came back after a long one and raged at us for not doing well in his absence LOL!

The second: 0-10 teammates. Don’t need to say more.

The third: aside from me, best player on my team was 1-6.

Basically impossible to get out of bronze. I’ve given up. Riciulous amount of bad there, to the point of not even understanding how dying 10 times feeds the other team. Incredible.

Nerf this hero nerf that hero. Match maker is out to get me. A lot of threads like that. Basically almost any post i read of yours you just come off sounding like a whiney loser.

if the game was 35 minutes, you clearly were standing up fine against the other team?

Like. I’ve had few games go over 25 minutes.

Typically a longer game means you were recovering, or were fairly balanced against the other team.

Heres the thing, you could spend those 20+ minutes into the game by turning the game around since Heroes is more a team based than relying on a specific team mate, its easier to make a come back in this game if the enemy screws up big time, you having a better comp, or you outplaying them.

Considering you were playing a Quick Match (Omegalul) and practically your team is countered except for one but than there is room for come back… if your team didn’t feed the enemy team.

Also, I do not want surrender in a HoTS or any other moba game out there, to me its sh*t excuse to not keep the match going that can have potential in late game or someone on the enemy team screwing up, big time.

I seriously think hammer needs looking at. Because trying to deal with her unless you have specifically drafted to do so, is a pain in the behind. (no I dont think she needs gutting)

Also whats up with so man Ranged assassins feeling so much stronger then melee ones? whats even the point of thrall? Even when Ahead I feel like I do no damage even after picking the correct talents for that game and then I get perma kited after my CC ends. Feels like Ranged assassin can burn you down and keep on doing it if they dont outright kill you; but something like thrall doesn. IDK; maybe I just suck at thrall now?

This is going to sound insaine, but I am going to suggest what I suggested in the LoL forums. Ranged characters should do less damage when your in melee AA range (I know someone is going to say: “but that doesn’t make logical sense!!!” true. But neither does every anything else in this game.) Being straight out damaged so dang hard in melee range sometimes is frustrating, and its not like Ranged characters (most of them) dont have a dash or hard CC or other things to keep you at ranged almost all the time. I mean to be real here, range is the most OP stat you can have in a MOBA.

They said they would address this soon, not with a surrender option, but with AFK loss forgiveness, which would be great. Of course you must remember they said exactly the same this time last year.

As for a surrender option, we don’t need it.

Reading comprehension is a thing

The reason I want a surrender option with bots is b/c of those games where you lose someone 0-60 seconds in, and for 15-20 minutes you’re stuck with a bot. It’s a total waste of time for the 9 people in that game. I’ve won maybe 1-2 games where we had a bot the entire game, I’d bet the %s break down to ~0.1% of games won with bots for the most of it.

I do not particularly want a surrender vote for normal games, b/c I feel like HotS has a good amount of whiny, babyish players that want to give up after the first engage, and it would mean every game we would have someone trying to surrender vote within 3m b/c they didn’t think someone got to lane fast enough or someone died in the initial fight at mid. Plus, it would prevent some of those insane, fun comeback victories that can happen in HotS.

Clearly? Umm did you read my post or just cherry pick an argument? 25 minutes at our core all forts and keeps down. Again the only reason we held them back was lava wave. We couldn’t surrender so we turtled, more out of protest, we knew unless they miffed

The easiest way to surrender is to stop playing and turtle inside spawn.

See, the thing is… If they had siege minions in 2-3 lanes, and you can lava wave one… That means you fought a “better” team with better minion waves for 25 minutes.

I’ve no idea how in the world a team that is so much better couldn’t end the game faster.

If your whole team sits, the game would end rather quickly, with 2-3 lanes of siege minions accompanying the regular minion waves. Not to mention the enemy team.

And again, how in the world did you hold off against a team that managed to push your base down in 10 minutes WHILE dying over three times as often for 25 minutes.

Something does not add up.
