Can’t say I agree with where they put imperius.
I haven’t seen main tank imperius for a while, so idk about that detail.
Kinda weird but if I was ranking tanks I’d probably swap his whole S and A tier and call it fine.
He says it’s for SL (mostly master), but putting Johanna at the top is very wrong since 2.51.1. The rest of the list is fine.

I agree that Anub is S tier. Afterthe slight nerfs, Diablo is probably right at A. But I can’t say I’d ever see Muradin as an S tier.
S tiere are not just strong and carry potential, but also harder to counter. It’s a lot easier to counter Garrosh than Anub or Uther.
Yeah, I can’t see Jo as an S tier either.

But how is Leoric, Xul and DW mentioned in a tank list, but not Yrel or Sonya?
They put in every hero that was seen used as tank in SL. Apparently some people even tanked with Maiev.
Except Blaze. Even in pro play, Blaze is drafted as a main tank by some teams, especially in EU.

Yeah, either they forgot or they really don’t like him.
And this is why I both love and hate tier lists. They are good in that they can spark discussion, or make me rethink my opinions of the current tank roster/meta. They are bad in that they are fairly subjective, encourage stereotyping of heroes, and tiers differ between maps, comps, and skill levels. Tanking is more about the play style than a specific hero. When I play ARAM, I will find myself tanking on Murky, or Alexstrasza. This is not to say that those heroes are designed to be tanks, or are particularly good tanks, but they can work if the person playing them knows what a tank is supposed to do. (DQ bodyblocking is OP.)
However, even 30k realizes Anub is busted.

Also, I pretty much agree with everything else (maybe bump ETC up to A tier cause of his versatility)
Leo is a NA thing from KingCaffeine and Justing to counter Johanna or a lot of CC.
DW is an EU thing. I don’t think it works.

o i dont think 1v1’s are the be all end all, but that plus his survivability and ability to practicaly stun lock is amazing, plus the apoc combo is great for initiating, his amazing self sustain allows him to be more aggressive than other tanks in some situations
If there were items then even convention healers could be tanks. Unfortunately (I know people are gonna say uther) no items limits playstyle diversity despite talents bring present.
A lot of heroes do stupid things after 20. But I’m not sure Diablo is S after the nerfs.
