Just curious, anyone else hating these new SC decks? Ive played a few games since the patch yesterday and lost them all to these new decks.
Some of the cards ive seen are just plain OP.
It just feels like if your f2p and dont buy the sc bundles then your screwed.

Minisets in general have a better dust per gold ratio then bying packs. Imagine buying 25 booster packs instead. It’s very unlikely to draw 4 legendarys. Especially because 2 of them (Kerrigan and Artanis) are playable. We also knew it was coming well in advance. We had ample time to save gold. I bought the miniset for gold. I don’t understand how that hurts f2p players.
So no I don’t hate the new miniset.

Yes, the new SC packs are broken. I climbed to legendary yesterday, and everyone I play is running the new SC packs. Debating just quitting the game entirely or coughing up the 20$ for the mini-set. Because the decks pre SC do not appear to be playable against the SC decks.

What does f2p have to do with it?
You can buy the bundle with in-game gold, which f2p players should have plenty of…

I hate the starcraft cards. Terran feels slightly more manageable? But Zerg is just brainless autopilot, value and card engines.

Pre SC decks not playable?! Handbuff Paladin, Elemental Mage, Discover Hunter and Cycle Rogue beat the crap out of every SC deck. Maybe except for Zerg DK. The rest is hardly even tier 2. All Terran decks are Tier 3 at best.

You know you don’t have to buy the bundles/minisets ti get the new cards right? I got all the zerg and terran cards, most of the protoss cards from packs, except the legendary cards.

Regardless of whether you have to buy or not, so many games like this always fall into this trap…constantly trying to create ‘new’ and ‘innovative’ cards or characters that inevitably become just more powerful instead of creating balance. Thanks for ruining the experience devs!
So you want the devs to make new cards that aren’t more powerful or innovative?

I’m angry right now. Just logged on to try and get some matches in to get quests completed and while I had been struggling to get to 5 silver this season when I initially played zerg I won 3 in a row and was at silver 6. So log in tonight to lose 6 in a row! Are you kidding me?
3 DK’s with zerg decks that are stupidly OP. Way more OP than any other thing they have ever given us, and 3 mages, one who got off the spell quest and kept my zerg deck locked down, and 2 other mages who dropped time warp quest where I just quit because the last 3 times I played a mage with that they got it off and had 16 turns in a row.
Yep. Blizzard seriously wants most of us to just quit so maybe they can finally get it how they pissed off their player base and made the decision for a lot of us to leave finally easy when they keep just adding more BS cards.
Like why keep giving these jerk offs money to piss myself off because it used to be 50/50 that I win my next match, but now as soon as I see what my opponent is playing I can pretty much quit because yeah that’s not going to end well. GG.

sorry that you had a bad time but just fyi the time warp quest got nerfed to once per game only so that is a small bit of relief. hope you feel better soon.

Frankly, i am only doing quests for the event and the fun is not there at all.
I just lost a nearly one hour game against a mage using a protoss deck and this f… khadgar card giving him free spells.
There’s a reason why i only play battlefields lately, at least i know that the fight is more or less fair.
On a side note, i still think that the price for any signature cards or portrait packs are too costly.
I would have probably paid if it was a portrait only with a cheap price but not this.
Welcome to blizzard. Also notice how your deck that was doing just fine last season, seems to never draw the cards needed for your win condition? If people actually took the time to look at the stats of draws, no one should ever pay money into this game.
This is why by law it should be required that any game that lets you spend money to obtain items (not including cosmetics) should be required to publish their source code for any matchmaking or RNG areas and have it required to be vetted by an independent 3rd party every 3 months to ensure what it running on the servers is the code they provided.
You’d see a ton of gatcha and AAA companies like blizz with these games shut them down quickly.

depends on the bundle lol. the 3 mini sets for each faction is only 2000. the whole mini set is 12000 and that is an absurd amount of gold

you’d be suprised with how dumb people can be. i have worked in a butchery with a vegan who thought leather came from trees. so people can be that dumb for sure yes
They’re not 2k each btw, but 1.2k, all factions if taken separately are 3600 (1100 higher than the main one).
I absolutely hate them, and, well pretty much every new money-grab set they make that stifles natural creativity and pigeonholes players into cookie-cutter builds…oh yeah…totally fun to play against the same 5 or 6 decks…this game is hot garbage and the sooner people start to realize that Blizzard only cares about getting your money then maybe things will start to change…but judging from the knee-jerk simp reaction to crap wrapped in nostalgia I don’t really have a whole lot of hope for them…
New decks are OP but also fun and sure can be countered. Some cards might need some nerfing but until then why not just play and have fun trying to find combos to beat them
