…so fixing something to make it more effectively and consistently lethal isn’t a buff?

If the text says “discover a random card” then it would be a buff, but it says “the perfect card”, so it has (at least) to never miss lethal.
Yeah, I think most of us hate zephrys. Even though I personally use it on all my decks in standard because I think he’s just too broken. If zephrys gets nerfed so hard to the point where he won’t do what he does atm highlander will kinda die in standard without new support.
Say it like you want, it’s still a buff because it increased the power of the card. If correcting that flaw in logic would have made him worse then would have been a nerf.

What I said it still applies, yes it was intended to work that way to always give the perfect card. But it didn’t work that way in certain scenarios, so fixing it actually buffed it compared to the previous version of the card that was live. It doesn’t matter if they didn’t intend us to give a “nerfed” version cause of the bugs. If they buff certain cards in standard then they would have to “fix” zephrys again which will make him even stronger which translates as him being buffed again. You can call it him being “adjusted” to match the text but I wouldn’t call that true if you deny him being buffed in the first place.
Zephrys was fine for a while… but I think it’s time to move him to the HOF…
though, the be fair… the game is just full of these “play 1 card and win the game from any board state” cards…
you kind of need cheese cards like this to answer some of these dumb mana-cheat cards

i dont have even half of the pieces of a highlander deck and only god knows how much i would love to have…point is I disagree…80% of the times with me Zeph was equal to a board clear…In my honest opinion,Zeph is op is higlander priests.Why only priest?bcz 1 more board clear matters they already have 3
