Im stuck in a nightmare. How am I seeing so many Zarimi Priests again if my MMR does not reset after the new month. Shouldn’t I be playing in the same MMR bracket as before? Make this make sense. I am so tired of seeing this deck. I hardly saw any at around 4k Legend but now that I am climbing again they are everywhere. Shouldnt my matchups have stayed about the same?
Play a different deck. Don’t want to? Stop complaining.
Im not touching ranked standard this month i cant imagine what ur dealing with
Yea that’s what happens when there is an obviously overpowered deck in the Meta. My only suggestion would be to power through or make a counter deck.
All I said was I was tired of seeing it. Where did anyone get that I was losing to it? I am the one confused. All I was wanting to know was why my matchups have changed so much from last month to this week. No-one around my MMR was playing this deck but now they are?
i lose more decks vs paladisn buffing minions than zarimi
OK, here is my theory, based on my own experience. Despite local pros are saying, the deck is good - reasonably fast and effective. Usually you are done by turn 8 and my winrate is 64% with over 100 games played. That being said, the deck is not really enjoyable or fun. Just effective.
If there is a lot of players like me (yea, I am guilty of that, sue me…) then they use it to climbe fast back to the legend, once they hit legend they switch to something else…
I don’t get what you mean. If the MMR is same, why would you not see Zarimi again.
PS I see few, because I’m “dumpster legend” MMR and they’re already bad there.
But it means that your climbing will be easy, is not it good?
Zarimi disappears at high ranks not because of some unknown high-rank magic. It happens because this deck is too weak
I’ve met only one Zarimi during my climbing (I finished in the lowest part of the 1st k – and I don’t think that there’s a big difference between the lowest part of the 1st k and the 4 k; probably you were just lucky to meet all people that had decided to give this deck a chance)
I don’t see where you are seeing this deck … I have made legend (albeit in Wild not standard) every month since December and I have seen MAYBE 5 Priests playing it.
I don’t remember it being played in such a way that it was effective at all.
Now maybe in Standard it’s different - this is why I don’t play standard. I have all the cards I need/want and in Wild I can use all of those cards as I see fit.
Thread has nothing to do with Wild. Deck is bad even in high ranks of Standard so it’s terrible for ranking in Wild.
I will take every opponent Zarimi priest if it means I never see their imbue version again.
Quick, straight forward game and they are simple to beat.
That is true - but I still don’t get why everyone claims to match against it so often…
I’m not saying that they aren’t I am just saying that I personally don’t see it often at all and from what I have read, even in standard it tanks drastically once it gets to diamond/legend rank - that tells me that the MMR swing higher up (in either standard or wild) make it a so/so deck as there are others that have higher win rates at higher ranks.
I do not understand the hate it gets, honestly.
There are so many more broken and unfair decks right now. Shocked that all the hate is on Zarimi instead of Paladin, for example.
Just change the deck you play for the rigger system to rig you to something that isn’t Priest. Thats how it works right?
It’s in low MMRs, roughly those that rarely go Legend or never. I usually have low Legend MMR and I already don’t see it doing well there.
Also if I check the stats and I see a deck tanking in win rate at top 5K legend and higher than I know the deck isn’t the best.
Those breakpoints are a bit fuzzy because they depend on the day of the month but you can make an educated guess.
Ahhh now THAT makes sense. Thank you for clarifying
Well…
I personally not mind doing those bogeyman nerfs that only affects low ranks so people actually try to learn to play.
When you as a player is there it can be a really bad experience not only for who play against but even for who uses.
That because they Will get a little higher than were they’re meant to without learning a damm thing making those people 100% unable to progress at all or picking another deck to start learn something.
They are really easy to Deal with exactly because the decks are already not great so any Minor stuff make they terrible and people intuitively see even if they not understand why.
I didn’t see hardly any of them at around 4 to 5k. Supposedly your MMR does not reset after the end of the month. I was just wondering why all the sudden these same players who were not playing it at Legend are now playing it. I was just wondering.
Saw a couple today between 1k-1k2
I dirty rat them. Sometime it works, sometime it doesn’t. Way she goes.
Tbh I found deathrattle demon hunter way more ennoying. I just cant beat them as a DK BBB spaceship. Dont know how to deal with the multiple deathrattle.
