You're in Bronze, stop netdecking legend decks

I know all about this.

When I first started in late 2017, I was playing garbage decks for months, and I would see opponents that played like bad AIs. Cube Warlock was very popular so I didn’t hesitate putting Mukla in my aggro deck and watching them be completely confused and having to make suboptimal plays so they could draw again.

But I couldn’t fault my opponents for spamming Cube Warlock if they thought it was fun to play.

You have another option. A better option. Wild.

You have a far wider variety of options in Wild. And I assure you, there’s few and far between of the top decks at Bronze and Silver.

You put yourself in the shallow end of the pool where people are learning to swim, and get upset that they are using , lets use the term tools, to do so. These tools are also used by the super high elite ranks in the deep end of the pool. You dont have to be in the shallow end, you chose to be there and so if you become annoyed at what is going on in that end of the pool, well, that is all on you.

You could just as easily be playing your fun decks in the deep end, free of the things that annoy you from the shallow end. But that is just the opposite issue for you, as the deep end doesnt allow your fun decks to make any progress in the ladder climb.

You problem doesnt seem to actually be with the unskilled people in bronze netdecking and learning those decks, still making mistakes, or missing cards, etc.

Your problem seems to be with the lack of fun that netdecks present for you to play against, in either end of the ladder. Since you cannot use your fun decks against their meta and enjoy yourself while climbing the ladder. Yet when you play in the other end of the spectrum so your homebrews can shine, you get paired with a similar if not identical meta deck as youd see in the high ranks. ANd now, despite them learning the deck being what saves you from the expected meta strats you instead get no pleasure out of either way you encounter the netdeck. Noob or longtime vet, if its a deck you recognize all the fun gets sucked out of the match for you.

This is what I experience only I label netdecking as a form of plagiarism. But Instead I just enjoy my homebrew decks for what they are, my creations and no one elses. SO my time in bronze is my own doing i suppose. But since I dont make decks made of 30 legendaries or dust all my collection in order to make those 30 legendaries for the one meta deck, I get to know that my time in bronze and very rarely silver, is where I struggle against others homebrews, or other’s netdecks as they try to quickly climb to their normal ranks and I lose by round 3 or 5. But just as equally people struggle against my homebrews too.

just do what I do when I recognize a deck, just conceed and go to the next match. I too prefer to face the unknown instead of trying to face something ive seen a dozen times or more and have no interest in wasting anyones time by not having any fun.

Compete in standard, fool around in wild. or vice versa.

ik i wish we had a life without a smartphone mandating we look almost everything up on the internet prior to breathing at this point.

just bc big tech can doesn’t mean it was the right call for you know, humans.
talking with our mouths is almost phased out at this pt if it isn’t texted or prerecorded video or involve the internet its not effective.

saying hi to ppl in public scares them bc it didnt come from a youtube video or text.
so, why do we need ears anymore if our eyes an subtitles do all the work for us?

ears are overrated anyway they got phased out by big tech. soon walking will be next.
who needs to move when everything can be done from the computer in our pocket.
there’s no stopping this beast.
they should stop calling it a phone it barely makes calls and all calls are dodgeable now.
stop calling it social media n celly, call it death. at least be accurate w what’s really happening.

i mean schools are phased out almost entirely like why have any in person anything.
i hope these social media and cellphone and ofc amazon all have a hot tub party and barf where it gets in the hot tub and they soak in their vom. they can call the party “2003” bc that was the start of it all. if you dont know look up 2003 its when several of the demons were born. they didnt get bad until like 2012 or so. it took a decade for them to go from a thing to mandatory to live, w consequences like a block button being used like candy as opposed to working out problems also known as dealing w people, that got phased out bc of block. you know lots of other consequences big tech n social media didnt foresee.

soon well all be in a recliner all day social mediaing absolutely everything and doing absolutely nothing real. w 1/2 second attention spans bc of it all too. 1 year old bday presents are going to be droids to make sure they understand the text dings and such at such an early age to get a head start lol like our world is so vom bc of all this mess.

i wouldnt even try to play a competitive pvp game in the computer-phone youtube era. card, shooter, whatever, its all sabo’d by social m being this op. now rts or games that are very hard to copy have a fighting chance at staying fun. same w pve games if you reject youtubing them youself which is totally doable if you understand the damage looking up does. remember looking up isn’t a ‘clue’ its a video spoiling all details of everything you’re looking up, its absolutely not nintendo power or so, its a video.

so play pve games, don’t look them up, and like don’t worry if your ear falls off we don’t need them soon bc of this mess. hs worked when it was new, and when social m wasn’t nearly like it is now, it has like 0 percent chance of being entertaining given the big picture. no new game has a fighting chance it would be attacked by social media and exposed fully in under 45 min. look at metroid dread it was so heavily exposed most people didnt even buy it bc they saw the whole game on youtube instead bc everyone just had to social m it.

what u doin later want to hang out?
idk, to make a decision i have to look up how to make a decision.
ok…life used to not be like this prior to 2012 or so why is it like this now?
idk, youtube it.
okay! what should i wear for clothes?
idk…youtube it.
ok what do i do for breakfast?
idk…youtube it.
dude this breakfast sucks…why didn’t you youtube it to get good at it first!
bro i u tubed it so hard it just takes human things like learning and time you know?

this is our life.
its awful, and absolutely not necessary. it got pushed hard on us by tech and social m.
zero of this electronic situation we are in is mandatory or good overall.

and the date is relevant because…?

yes yes, because it makes a lot of sense to have several accounts in a collection game

Reminds me of that song “Love My Way,” substituting “love” with fun.

You are matching based on MMR. Working as intended.

So people should play homebrew to a certain rank and then they whould be "allowed"to swap to a meta deck according to you… you do know even a legend player has to start at bronze again each month…
anyway please do tell me why should someone intentionally have to play a worse deck and make climbing take longer cause you say so?
also if beating them gets boring you must be out of bronze right now thou…

and what has this rant to do with the topic?

nothing. i am socrates.

He deserved the hemlock.

I like how you left out where I specified the exact reason MANY people, including me, have more than one account in this game.

Wow that was a deep necro, the salt is strong in this one.

Emmett Brown called, he wants his Delorean back.

it does - one per server.
