You're in Bronze, stop netdecking legend decks

You’re not pro, half the time you’re not even playing the deck right, and even beating you gets boring when I know the same 3 or 4 decks are all I’m gonna see all day.

People are sociopathic and care not how their opponents feel – so, scratch that. Moreover these players want to climb as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Sorry to hear about your frustration. :frowning:

I’m curious. If you are that good, why are you spending a whole day in bronze rank?

Sorry to burst your bubble but people aren’t going to use 2014 starter decks anymore nor is anyone going to waste time refining their own decks when people already did that work for them. People are going to use the decks that other people did the work refining and have been proven to work.

The only way to stop netdecking is forcing people to play prebuilt decks or random dekcs like in Tavern Brawl and if you want Tavern Brawl queue Tavern Brawl.

Because he isn’t good.

Or even worse, maybe he’s playing on a star bonus and doesn’t understand he’s playing against people of his own MMR instead of bronze-level opponents.

They have little powerful cards nor synergy. However, they are facing completely optimized netdecks. Also, note that in the beginning of the season, everyone is climbing. You may be running into some high level players.

We all start somewhere!

OR they are in bronze because of star modifiers you know!

Highly doubt someone in ‘bronze’ is there naturally. This is season start… your gonna START in bronze even if you are a legend!

With basicly any form of star bonus you just speed through bronze (and everything up to diamond for that matter). I’m just curious about his train of thought. Especially his misconception that people using net decks are strictly bad players since that is flat out wrong.

I don’t believe they’re dissing netdeckers, only that they’re haulting his progress.

Netdeckers aren’t haulting his progress, his skill-level is.

It’s very unlikely there’s that many netdeckers in true ‘‘bronze’’ ranks.

Read what I typed above. This fellow likely lacks the card to actually compete.

I wouldn’t be so sure. After season reset, experienced players start at bronze.

Player in Bronze doesnt want to face Legend able decks.
I know you miss those free wins you used to get before but the training wheels have to come out sonner or later.

The system needs a ravamp to prevent this nonsense from happenung.

and those players aren’t in true bronze ranks…

They aren’t? I must be mistaken. At the start of seasons, we all start at bronze. Don’t we?

MMR matches you against people in the ranks you were before reset. Hence the star system that enables you to climb to your true rank as quickly as possible.

That’s slipped my mind. Thank you very much for the verification.

wait what… you aren’t aware that whenever you are playing on a star bonus you’re strictly matched against players of your own mmr, therefore not playing true bronze-level players at the beginning of the month ?

It’s less about forgetting and more about it having been a minute that I researched matchmaking. Nevertheless, thanks guys. It’s all coming to me now.

Edit: @OP, yeah, it’s bonkers. New players shouldn’t be punished, whereby increasing the likelihood of quitting altogether

@ßƐƐ, are you surprised to see meta decks at this lowly level of play? Is this normal? I feel terrible for these new players. Lord knows we need more of them.
