Your opinion of current unfun decks?

Decks ya find unfun to play against.

  1. Quest hunter
  2. Miracle rogue(any of the current iterations)
  3. Skelly mage
  4. Ramp druid(any iteration)
  1. ramp druid
  2. curse lock
  3. quest hunter

everything else doesn’t annoy me too much

I think the reason is that these decks are the least interactive. It’s like you’re not even playing against someone, you’re just building your own hand to unload it all at once later.

I’m tired of Ramp Druid. Though, I started running an enrage Warrior list that I saw Regis toy with the other day (it features…Cheesemonger?1?1?). Went 6-0 right away before falling off recently. Still playing over 50%, though. Pretty effective against Mage, too.

are there fun decks in the meta?

aggro druid without trogg in the starting hand maaybe.
alright, beasthunter is fine.

apart from that it´s mostly die to dawngrasp or die to denathrius+brann.
or just priest clearing every board you build.

it´s the worst the game has been since i started playing with ashes of outland.

Agreed with the consensus so far - how much “fun” I’m having depends on if I feel like a playing a game/person or not. In order of personal hatred:

  1. Ramp Druid (more the overall experience than lack of interactivity)
  2. Quest Priest
  3. Miracle Rogue
  4. Theotar in any class

And more of an annoyance than anger:

  1. Curse Lock (lack of interactivity/excessive power creep)
  2. Aggro Druid (it’s just like 5-10% overtuned, and yes I pulled that number out of thin air)
  3. Quest Hunter (I’ve always thought since day one 2/2/2 for the quest was just a little too short considering how easy it is to check the boxes)

I’m a dedicated homebrewer who hates following the main meta trend. I also play a ton of midrange/tempo and am always trying to play a non-meta class. Currently playing big minion/charge warrior and actually having moderate success in Diamond 1-5. However, I did just get hit for 72 by Brann/Denathrius druid…

I also like to homebrew and tjnker and what not and it is just hard to win anymore unless ya play the major powers. I used to get suprised when i played someone and saw a card i am not use to seeing. But now and days i dont see any cards i am not used to seeing or ideas.

I also play a lot of off meta decks in casual cause I don’t care about losing games.

But even in casual you run into full meta decks all the time. Wonder why people play ramp druid or spooky mage in casual, but I guess I’m just overestimating human intelligence

Playing homemade weird decks like this is so funny though, people are like wtf the whole time trying to figure out wtf your deck is  That’s why the best decks/op cards need to be toned down a bit, so people stop using the same cards over and over.

mage all kinds, to much freeze and random stuff. not to mention the hero card.
druid all kinds, way to powerful both agroo and 10+ mana variants.
quest hunter,it’s just stupid. and boring.

Brann + Denathrius, Brann + Theotar and Mage Hero Power. Theotar should probably just be discard instead.

I dislike every opponent. Since 2017. Screw those guys!

I dislike most of the current Standard batch Spooky Mage.

I usually find that playing whatever good deck that beats the decks I dislike most makes me pretty happy.

If i didn’t make it!

I don’t really have issues with decks, more just neutral cards. Sire and theotar being ran in literally every deck makes the meta very repetitive, I feel like the power of neutral cards should be VERY limited in order to stop metas where a card is a must include in every list.

Every Deck everyone else plays besides the starter 2014 basic starter decks is unfun to play against. If I can’t play greedy do nothing decks that skip turns 1-9 and the games don’t go to fatigue that it is not fun. I need human opponents to sit there doing nothing while you goldfish against them or the game is not fun.
