Title.
There’s nothing more to say.
Difficult to believe any player would not play the coin first, before the quest card.
While you are 100% accurate in that I could have and should have done that…
TITLE
Also, the coin shouldn’t be a spell EITHER.
This. Play your coin.
Once again. Your band aids are accurate, but Ill repeat.
TITLE.
I wouldnt have to WASTE the coin if.
TITLE
You getting what Im laying down yet?
( I wouldnt HAVE to use the coin if the Quest couldnt be OMY’ed)
That’s an altogether different kettle of fish I guess.
It’s pretty brutal if you fall for it
It is. But it could be the SAME KETTLE where the Quest goes.
The Quests AND the Coin SHOULD be the same things. NOT A SPELL
Would you do anything else to balance the disadvantage of going second? Because for most decks it’s statistically inferior as things stand, and having the coin not count as a spell would be a further disadvantage in most situations.
I am the lucid dream.
The monster in your nightmares.
The fiend of a thousand faces.
Cower before my true form.
BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!
On Player Ones second turn, they only have 1 mana crystal. Kinda like they overloaded on turn 1.
Then 3 is 3
Just spit balling
This is certainly a take.
Interesting at least.
I would rather my Pali opponent play a secret I can play around than a minion on turn 1 xD
No, it’s not a band-aid, it’s an acceptance of reality: quests are spells. You’re complaining about how you think things should be. It’s fantasy; doesn’t exist.
Here’s my counterpoint. I like it just the way it is. With a dead hand, I can save quest for 2, play Marshspawn on 3.
Band Aid.
You sound like someone who eats someone elses leftovers and shrugs.
“It is wut it be!”
This thread isn’t how to get around crappy situations. Or how to “take it in the posterior” like a CHAMP.
Maybe YOURE a champ, but thats on you.
Accept THAT reality.
I stand up for myself, I don’t roll over. I have ideas, and thoughts and a mind of my own and the right to make a post illustrating my displeasure with an in game mechanic that I disapprove of.
I like your survival skills though. You certainly can take a beating.
Loose quest or coin. Hard decision indeed against Paladin.
And voices, no doubt.
This is a stupid idea. The paladin skipped their first turn to play a secret, and you blundered and lost your quest. All you have to do is play coin. They play a 1 mana secret, you counter it for 0 mana.
apart from failing to provide even a single reason “why” quests and coin shouldnt be spells, and just offered your 100% opinion that was formed, as you pointed out, because you lost to a childish mistake.
so, the “band aid” is actually your take which is basically is: “i lost because i did an oupsie, but i’m gonna call that oupsie a mistake of the game so as not to blame myself”.
