YIKES! Dead on Turn 3

A new personal record today. I died on Turn 3. Didn’t even have a chance. This wasn’t an auto-concede either. Just took 30 damage right to the face before I could even play a card.

I was playing against a Rogue (with coin) as Paladin.

P T1: End Turn
R T1: Coin -> Foxy Fraud -> Shadowstep -> Foxy Fraud -> 10/10 Edwin
P T2: Hero Power
R T2: Hero Power (kills Recruit) -> Face for 13 Damage
P T3: Hero Power
R T3: Face for 13 Damage -> Prep -> Eviscerate

Good game.

Not complaining. Just a perfect draw for my opponent.

Oh yes, the definition of a good game. Mulligan the nuts and win the game on spot.

Fair and balanced. Too much skill involved. 11/10 would get edwin’d again!

Tinfoil hat time: I believe there’s a direct correlation between how much money you spend and how abysmal your Mulligan is.

Maybe an inverse correlation. I’ve preordered every set since Whispers, and I find myself having Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, the most expensive card in my deck, in my opening hand 90% of the time.

Could be a curvilinear relationship, and you’re at the other end of the curve. Should’ve spent less (just not too much less).

And you not having the luck of drawing a counter

Too bad he couldn’t counter his opponent winning on turn 3.

Don’t give peeps in the rigged HS threads more thought food… xD

Two mana spell : set a minion attack and health to 1

Edwin is broken. It should have been hall of famed years ago

I would welcome this change.

Had the same opening today! Opponemt just answered with a braggart and I lost

Earlier today I played against a sham who 10/10 stats on board turn 2, and double it turn 3.

Fair and balanced.

Oh my sweet summer children… If you haven’t played Wild you’ve seen NOTHING yet, cheers! :wink:

Stop saying HoF is the solution to something please, we don’t want that broken trash in wild either.

So, idk what deck you are running, but you passed, hero power, and hero power for your first three turns. You literally did nothing and lost. I don’t think that’s necessarily a problem with the game.

If you literally played no cards for three turns, then that’s pretty much your issue right there.

i am doing the math, shouldn’t Edwin have cost 1 at that point but all mana spent on first foxy fraud.

This: here you clearly messed up.
You should have played the 3 mana owl that silences a minion :man_facepalming: so easy, why am I not a GM already?

With 2 foxes, I think edwin gets discounted by 4

because they have a weight system for cards in this game. Hidden, obviously. Been experiencing that since journey to un’goro. Try playing a deck with elysyana in it and see how often you will get that in your hand before turn 5 every game even if you mulligan it back into your deck.
