So I built a quest / big priest deck list and I’m playing a game against a big spell mage. Part of the reason I added the quest was as a contingency plan against stuff like mass polymorph. So being that both decks were slow and didn’t exert much pressure I got my quest completion and eventually drew my shard. I’m running Vandaar Stormpike so Xyrella the Devout is my backup 8 mana cost card for the quest if I get him on curve (vandaar brings mo arg down to 5 cost, but the hero card is unaffected).
So long story short, I end the game with the purified shard. But to my surprise the hero has a hidden voice line that she speaks only when you play the purified shard against your opponent.
You will be purified!
That caught me by surpsise. I was not expecting that at all. I have to hand it to team 5, that’s a nice little touch.
