It’s not enough that there’s so many things that still need to be fixed (regardless of my personal opinion), it seems not enough money is being spent on Blizzard stuff (apparently).
*Each session lasts ONLY until 5 wins or 2 losses, instead of 3 losses and however many wins were allowed before this.
*On top of Arena being Wild AND allowing more than 2 copies of a card (I was offered 3 just now when I played).
*Each session ONLY takes tickets now instead of also being able to use gold.
*Tickets cost 200 runestones each, only obtained at 500 for $4.99 (minimum), 100 per $1 USD. Gold can be earned just by playing.
Meaning now HS, or at least Arena anyway, is truly worse than P2W, its P2P (Pay to play).
I’m sorry, I already have cash invested in Blizz through WoW, but if this gets me banned then I guess it’ll be cut as a loss.
With everything Blizzard has between the games they own, sell, and have shops for, and already having ppl willing to empty their wallets on cosmetic crap, they don’t have enough profit???
This is by far the worst move I’ve seen from them. Making Arena sessions shorter, and constructing it in a way to only allow cash to play (outside of those who already have stockpiled tickets or runestones). Meaning it now forces anyone who wants to experience part of a game that had the option of entry just by paying the game normally, through gold that can only be gotten through the rewards track (which already urges ppl to buy the Pass to get additional rewards anyway), to spend even more money for the (now worse) “possibility” of increased rewards that favors veterans (that already know what the older cards do) over the average normal player who may only know about cards in Standard format and never plays Wild, thus baiting those players into unknowingly feeding their cash into a mode that only MAY pan out with more than just a standard card pack and a pinch of dust for 2 bucks of real money per play.
