Way back in the day, a card called Force of Nature, a staple of Druid since release, was nerfed (killed, rather) to “open up Druid design space”
Would you rather have Druid as we have it now? Or would you rather they just never killed Force of Nature so that Druid design space remained restricted?
FoN isnt even needed now. Just ramp to 13 or kill opponent with water droplet spam turn 6

It is the exact same play pattern with less powercreep basically.
