I know that the rotation will be happening in April, I am still trying to understand how it works completely though.
When the new expansion is released, do all of the current expansions get deleted or just the oldest 3?
With that being said, is it worth purchasing any new expansions before April?
Also, do most people use gold or pay to get the full expansions? I don’t have many cards And use my gold for packs and intend to buy roughly a pack a month.

Just the oldest three expansions go to Wild, the three most recent remain in Standard for another year. So yes, it’s worth buying packs from the latest expansions. I can’t answer to your last question since that varies from person to person. There are those who buy the pre-order, and then those who save up gold to buy in bulk the day it releases.

Yeah, would suggest to buy everything at the start, so you get to use the cards earlier and have the dust earlier, making you more competitive earlier. Then save until next expansion. You also get promos when you buy pre-orders.
