Update: I recieved Shaman Quest, Rogue Quest (Golden) and Hunter Quest (Golden) when i logged in. I also opened 1 more pack and got Siamat. Not too bad.

This is why after preordering once and being completely disappointed, I told myself never again. I ended up crafting most of the cards I actually wanted and it took 2 expansions as the dusting rate is abysmal.
I only hope you didnāt spend $130 and if so, you have condolences.
I recently put my own 133 pack numbers up if youāre interested but I wish I tracked the repeating Epics and Rares I got. My goodness, the amount of Plague of Madness (Rare) and Shadows of Death (Epic) that kept appearing over and over was ridiculous.
I thankfully got a Puzzle Box of āYoggersā (as I call it lol) which I really want to mess around with, but I felt I missed out on so many Epics that I āshouldāveā had. I wanted that Tortollan Pilgrim and a few other Epics but I kept getting the same ones.
Grrrr lol.

I am sure you know this but this is by design.
In the past the developers have stated that itās one of their goals in the design of opening the loot boxā¦I mean card packs is that you donāt get a complete or nearly complete collection.
Getting multiple copies of rares and epics you already own vs a single of most epics you donāt own is āworking as intendedā.
On the bright side, Iām only 7 packs from the pity timer.

I never expected a clean sweep and I dare say itās like that for any TCG. To be left with 10 Epics missing isnāt too bad I must admit. The Legendaryās I expect and I can definitely craft my last missing Rare. I got Tomb Warden (Warrior) 2+ and 2 Golden Tomb Wardenās as well Iām sure so Iāll dust one of those and few others I might want 2 copies of.
Iām currently 0/25 for my current Legendary timer and my max drought was 32 packs. I should get my next one very soon as well. I have enough gold for another 15 packs to see out the pity timer but I reckon Iāll get it before then.
Welcome to pretty much every CCG. I mean in MtG:A I am opening roughly ~200 packs an expansion ($50 + gold + rewards) and I have:
RNA: 88%
GRN: 87%
WAR: 86%
M20 (still opening): 57%
For comparison, HS past 4:
WW (spent $50): 221/237 93%
Boom: (spent $130): 230/248 93%
RR: (spent $80): 227/247 92%
RoS: (spent $0): 216/248 87%
Now, in both, that includes crafting because I have no clue what I spent dust/wildcards on by this point in time.
and that is cool and well within yoru right, etc. Honestly, when I preorder I just look at as getting X legend (~30 packs) + dustā¦ nothing more so my expectations are fairly low. I honestly purchase more by how I feel about the expansion + my current engagement with it.
Theyāre actually good numbers at the end of the day for what you spent. Iāve spent more on other card games in the past.
How much gold did you put into Rise of Shadows? Initially I mean, in one go. I unfortunately missed the RoS bundles and Iāve held my gold back just in case for SoU, but Iāve had good cards come from my SoU openings so Iāll probably get some RoS packs. Iām just curious as to how much you put in to get your 87%.

On the bright side, you got lots of cards, lots of dust, and will get almost average legendaries very soon with free packs (I assume).
Also, you donāt really have to spend gold to hit the next legendary, unless you want to. Remember the adventure will probably have packs, and thereās probably going to be a bundle. (So donāt use gold to chase legendaries multiple times!)
We have actually heard worse, not that itās any consolation.
I wouldnāt say worse but pretty bad. I opened 52 packs and there was already 5 legendaries and 11 epics, a anka and a epic was golden too.
isnāt 5 the average for a 130 opening? thatās what always hear so I think it isnāt so bad.
I had left over gold from RR so I opened, between gold and promo, roughly 90 packs.
I know I crafted Scargil, Betrug, Swampqueen, and Jepetto as legendsā¦ Not sure on what else if anything. Those are the only ones that come to mind.
Ah nice. I will have around 4.7, 4.8k gold by the time the 6th rolls around. I could get half of what you gotā¦hopefully haha.

Iām really not sure until I see it. Thatās why Iāve been tracking all my packs for all sets. 32 packs is my worse drought Iāve had.

The new Finley might actually be good, depending on which cards are available to you. Most of the cards in this new set though, look like trash, like the worst new cards Iāve seen in years in my opinion.
