Why is this being placed into decks? Am I missing something? The freeze effect doesn’t work - is it just to get a body plus a free hero power? It’s in the net deck I’m using, and I see others running it as well.
2 mana 2/3 make your next hero power cost 0 and freeze target
Imbue is the stacking mechanic along the lines of Jade or Whisper of the Old Gods, if you remember those times
The first time you play a card with Imbue keyword, it changes your hero power to some stackable, and each subsequent Imbue makes it better
I don’t play Wild and I don’t know what deck you’re talking about, but if there’s only that one card with Imbue in the deck, it’s probably there just to get a new hero power

People experiment a lot with things they think are going to work but don’t work. I would chalk it up to that since the imbue thing is new.

I am just questioning that one particular card in the deck - it’s a 2/3 body that makes your next hero power cost 0, and freezes the target (freeze does not work with imbue). I would say it’s for turn 2 tempo, but you’re not imbued at turn 2.
Its probably a card to set up later turns or someone typed “hero power” into search bar and clicked auto complete after adding a few serched up cards.

Precisely BECAUSE you’re not imbued at turn 2, this can work as a tempo play to freeze whatever threat they’re able to put down in front of you
But
this works equally well as an explanation, as your hero power costing 0 will carry on to later turns until you use it
The goal is to play hero power 10 times before dropping Mordresh, ig, so every little bit of mana cheat counts

Because it makes cost 0. With that strong of a hero power even without freeze it could be worth.
I believe it isn’t but i can be wrong.
is the deck good without the legendary i dont have it (20 damage one)
It’s definitely fun - the 20 damage guy is good but you can have fun with Brann and greedy stuff like that. I don’t think it’s super good, but it’s ok. You can use Mordresh still of course in Wild.
It’s actually not a bad card, because not only it saves 2 mana but it can make the next turn better because the next turn may first imbue so it’s better than going to the next turn and imbuing and then not having that mana in that turn.
Of course it’s not an AMAZING card so there’s a good chance better ones could fit (I don’t know).
