You can craft wild cards using dust.
In order to play wild, you need to have a deck that is marked as wild. (Even if it contains only cards that are valid in standard).
In order to mark a deck as wild, you need to have at least one wild card, AND be at rank 25 or better.
In order to get a wild card, you need to either buy (using real money) a wild pack from the store and open it, or you can craft a wild card (using dust). There is no way to get wild cards with gold.
In order to craft a wild card, you need to be at rank 25 or better. Go to your collection directly from the main menu (not while already editing a deck). Click on the deck selector. Select All Cards or a specific wild expansion. Go to crafting, find a card you like, and craft it.
