I finished the Quest (Jungle Giants) for Druid, played Barnabus that changes minions in deck to 0 cost then played Marin the Manager to play that Goblet that draws copies until your hand is full. The first card I drew was a 0 cost but the others reverted to their original cost. It was Prince Malchezaar. Had one 0 cost PM then five 5 cost PMs.
Did a quick search and came across another post from 2019 on Hearthpwn with the same deal but with Luna’s Pocket Galaxy.
Evidently, the copies are made from the base card, disregarding buffs.
Which is the bug being reported
A copy of a card from your hand is supposed to keep the enchantments that were applied in hand
Is it? I believe there cases where that is not true.
e.g. if you have Glinda Crowskin on the board and you play a buffed minion from your hand, the new Echo copy is the base minion, not the buffed one.
Echo has its own mechanic of the card being repeatable, even though the tooltip talks about copies. Same way of a minion summoning a copy of itself on deathrattle. The copy will not retain enchants.
But any card that explicitely copies a card from your hand will keep the enchants. You even have cards like Encumbered Pack Mule wich precisely relies on this mechanic.
Warrior even has a new one coming in the next expansion with Line Cook
