so imba i cant play ,there are too many cards, they could make a separate arena for wild, away from me,when i see a wild card i get sad because i was happy when it became wild.the game is nice to change

Your old drafting strat wont work now, you gotta go with a more aggro curve for most classes. Its far better than the watered down constructed it became when buckets were introduced, at least it will change each month instead of knowing your opponents late game is gonna consist of Bears or Wurms.

You will get used to it, you sound like you just lack knowledge on the cards from rotated sets included in this seasons arena. Its not wild, there are just a couple of wild sets included. You need to adapt, and dont trust HearthArena if youre using it right now, their rankings are all sorts of off.

i just dont like wild.

so when a card rotates out you auto hate it then? lol

that’s kind of odd and vague.

I absolutely hate this new format of the arena.
Not only the buckets rarity is not balanced at all ,but half the classes are literally bottom feeders overall because their current cards are so bad.

I am tired of playing arena for this expansion ,because facing Rogue ,Warlock,Priest and Mage almost every single game gets tiring.
I tried playing the other classes ,but they are horrible compared to those I mentioned.
5+ wins it becomes " who drafted the better rogue/warlock/priest/mage deck and who goes first" game.

Terrible ! It’s just nightmare level of terrible right now.

Well rogue is a bit too strong atm. But I guess that’s kind of fine, since rogue has always been the most difficult arena class. So you have to know what you’re doing if you want that sweet 10% winrate edge by just picking rogue.
They’ll fix that when they get enough data and adjust the card buckets.

P.S. rogue 58.5%, warlock 53.2%; all other <50%
Not the greatest balance, but at least you have pretty good chance to get at least 1 of the viable classes when there are 2.

I don’t think you’re aware that it’s not all the sets that are available in this format. They’re going to rotate the sets so there’s not too many cards as you claim… There’s the same amount as before.

Although I agree that the balance is complete garbage right now and if they don’t fix it, I’ll just quit the mode.

What is the point of removing rashtakan for example… We get to play with some senile old sets that noone wants to play with.
Abyssal enforcers so fun ,dragonfire potion so fun ,coupled with discover mechanics so fun right now.

I think they’re planning to rotate arena more often than once per expansion. This should keep arena much fresher and deck helpers much less reliable.

Those cards are fine as long as they don’t appear very often.

Arena isn’t wild. Its a select set of expansions different that Standard. I think the current set of cards is MSG, RoS, WW , Naxxaramus, and Old Gods. I have been enjoying this Arena. Easy Farming against the field using any class for 7+ wins. Many people just don’t know how to play anything that isn’t easy mode with programs telling them what to do.

what shuyin says, now arena programs aren’t working as they are and you LOSE more than what you should. If you don’t like this mode feel free to play standard or other games instead, there are people who like this game mode.

they should make a different arena for wild ffs

I’d say this format of arena is great. The more often they rotate the sets, the less time all card value lists/pickers have to adjust and the more ppl need to use their own head while drafting.

Is that really a problem, though? I’ve yet to see a picker that would be even remotely as good as me and I’m kinda middle of the road Arena player. Let alone the pros who often pick very, very different from the “recommendations” and maintain over seven win averages.

Besides, Lightforge considers the cards using their algorithm so the changes over time are kinda minimal in general. I consider them a useful reference but hardly problematic in any way.

It’s not a problem. But it’s easier to get 12 wins when they don’t work ;). And there’s also more variety in decks when ppl don’t just blindly pick the same cards over and over and start to actually think.

Of course, it doesn’t make sense not to use them. But it’s just better if their usefulness is limited just to really new players.
