Why We Must Get Rid of "I Win" Card in Hearthstone

First we have Priest “I win when I draw this.”
Now we have Warlock " I win when I play this + 4 turns."

At this rate, each class will have their own “I win” card.
The game design, if any is left, will inevitably be limited to this pigeon hole.
It’s like you introduces the nuclear weapon to a country, and more countries.
No country in the world will be happy with their arsenal any more.
Everyone would demand their own nukes.
Everyone would expect to eventually get their nukes.
And the world will be given nukes to all.
And no more design space is left after that, it’s just the world end.

That’s an “I win” card? The hell is an “I win” card then? Sorry to be rude, but that’s not what that means.

It essentially is an I win card though because warlock has access to multiple board clears and lifesteal cards. They can stall almost any game 4+ turns unless they get really really bad draw.

I believe the usual definition used is basically a card that, when played, wins the game on the spot, not 4 turns later. Not to be sarcastic whatsoever.

Yeah I know what you mean, but that warlock card in particular is like a 95% I win card imo because most decks can’t outdamage the warlocks healing and board clears in 4 turns once that card is played.

The wheel warlock… I agree it’s annoying. However, you are seriously complaining about Quest Priest? With all the aggro decks out there, If a quest priest is able to pull that out of his deck just means you didn’t kill him fast enough.

It takes so many steps to be complete that quest you have to play 2.3,4,5,6,7,8 cost cards before you get xyrella who is a 7 cost card that puts the 10 cost card into your deck.

10 mana and suboptimal play. What a joke.

Priest Quest is not an I win card. It’s a jump through hoops and win 10+ turns later if everything goes well card. I would rather just play a better deck that wins when things go average in less turns instead.

I bet he is talkong about brann and helya on curve cards like that.

First expansion of the year is going to have a game state like this.

Getting rid of win conditions is going to leave us with GREED priests, where the only condition they want to use is attrition and endless value generation.
