Out all the cards, why was Conniving Conman not Nerf it just seems like it would be a good idea. Even those it rogue card it see more played in Paladin and mage than rogue itself. Conniving Conman still give you big early turn after another.
Were it not for the fact that Mage was only declared an urban plague because they had a way to reliably draw then spam 15 damage in a single turn after putting on their watercolor warpaint I’d have agreed and said the aftershock was worse than the first wave. But after seeing how effective nerfing the first wave was at getting mage relabeled…
I genuinely don’t know anymore. Somewhere along the way we all got so focused on hating a class we could immediately see making a comeback with a confirmed kill count that we forgot all other bullies in the playground.
I gotta conceed on this one. Someone else tag in an’ post their Pinocchio esque take on this. I don’t know what the argument to this would be but I’m guessing it would look something like “Lying is bad!” “But why is it bad? Lawyers lie as their job!”

Conman is only as good as what it can copy. I don’t like the card but it only feels bad because of mana cheats on other cards.
