Why is the RNG so much worse in ranked?

I notice a stark difference in RNG when I play the exact same deck in casual or ranked. When play casual, I get the best curve and roll. And when I play standard with the very same deck, my RNG plummets and I often draw the same card 2 turns in a row and I never get the card that I need.

And whenever I do win in ranked, it’s through exhaustive pyrrhic victories where I have to make sure every move is perfect while my opponent gets the perfect RNG and plays on autopilot. I only win through sheer attrition. My wins only come from simply surviving my opponent’s win con.

Anyone else who have noticed this when playing ranked vs casual?

Casual is absolutely different… It’s good for only one thing, to test your deck a little if it has enough minions, spells, card draws, etc. But to test it for real… you need to play ranked. You can find any kind of decks in casual which have zero chance in ranked, can’t calculate statistics from such unreal data. In casual you can get low skill level players more easily too who can’t see the opportunities of his deck and miss play a lot. Casual is only for fun with no risks, almoast no reward and no rank stress.

Either pure luck or spooky thought influence lol

I doubt that it is about a good curve and rolls only, more likely you play against weaker players (or against players who are actually not so weak, but have no will to win while playing in this mode) in the casual mode and they give you time to find cards what you want to see and then you remember it like it was luck + add some cases when you were really lucky because it just can happen sometimes.

Not really. On casual, I usually get good opening hands and good curves. In ranked, I get horrible draws
