The priest summons multiple copies of his TITAN while mage is only once and lasts more than one turn!
Is there any way to refund all the dust spent? Are they going to buff the mage’s TITAN at some point??
Its kinda bad because if for some reason it survives to use all 3 abilities, the mage will hit you for 20 damage.
It never worked for me and the priest still generated copies of my titan!
I remember when it was revealed and everyone had a conniption fit because it was too good. Best titan of the set, they said! Ha! No.
It’s “bad” because mage does a really bad job at supplementing a cohesive strategy to be used with it.
Mage right now really is a tempo class that looks to even out the board while it looks for Sif. Normannon’s secret ability is pretty bad putting him down because it more or less treats him like a 6 mana Blademaster Okani (which get’s more inconsistent the older standard gets – can’t really quantify if this is worse or not, it becomes contextual like how small discover pools early on into a rotation are either very good or very bad).
Ancient Knowledge is admittedly good but you can only do that when you are ahead which is very rare because again, mage is a tempo deck and it’s very often times not playing ahead of your opponent. 1 cost increase to cards becomes less meaningful when they already have a board established. It probably does force an extra minion to trade or a hero power to be used which might be one less net minion of the board, but it’s not a very convincing play at 6 mana.
The burn ability is basically always good but the issue is that this is the one you really want to save up for since is pushes lethal or, at worst, large minion removal. It’s worse putting down double secrets or making cards cost 2 more even though these latter abilities are clearly powerful, they just don’t scale as well.
If you put Norgannon in hunter or warlock, classes that can have turns where your opponent is forced to address your board before you summon him, he’d be way better. So it’s not that he’s bad, it’s just the deck surrounding him isn’t very complimentary to what he’s trying to do because the logistics of when you want to play him is pretty clunky with how mage currently plays.
It’s a card that shines only if it survives a turn.
Problem being, that nothing survives a turn in today’s Hearthstone.
The Titan is not bad. He does not have a strong impact on the first turn like the other Titans. If you play him strategically and also combine him with Reverberations then he is very strong
Pretty sure Sif makes up for any deficiencies in their Titan, just like Odyn overshadows Warrior’s Titan. Guess we should be relieved that Warlock doesn’t have a class legendary that’s even better than Titan Sargeras…
Doesn’t Reverberations doubles again when used on mage titan. Therefore the fireball does 40 damage.
It’s bad because Reverberations is busted.
Honestly It’s not bad, it’s the other titans (priest and warlock in particular) that are too good
Because Sif is a card that exists? Also, Reverberation is a card that should have never been created.
The card is fair and have good sinergy with copies if you manage to survive for one turn.
The problem is other cards so insanely OP it don’t give chances of counterplay we face it or are used to makes anything fair looks terrible in comparison.
6 manas, 3/8 kill a 5 health minion or disrupt a combo deck for a turn at the same time is a serious treat in the board is not a weak card at all.
The unfair, undercosted and broken cards need to bring down to fairness, not the fair cards being buffed.
why ? is just a spell version of cover artist with just a different downside
Because it copies and is a removal all in one package. It’s also a spell so discovering more copies is very likely. There’s a reason it sees play and cover artist never did.
This combo only works with Free to Play people who are in the bronze rank! Then it works fine, now the rank goes up, you’ll see that it’s rubbish! Current decks for grandmasters who play mage do not include this TITAN. In short: it’s complete rubbish!!
The only one carrying the mage class is Sif and even so, just one card doesn’t make the class have a high rank in the season, the mage class is in the last places!
In a game I did this feat here with Sif (It’s a very difficult feat to do again!): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EpPygVB3nFF7oNCln_cJh1CxWnWL4wap/view?usp=sharing
Any card that relies on staying on board has been on watch basically since tempo mage and shielding mana wyrm with mirror images was a thing.
Anyone thinking otherwise is mostly deluding themselves. By the time you get any card to stick on board 3 turns, you most likely already won, let alone a 6 mana card.
Its not good now, but it will be good soon
