For me it is too many pretty much instant wins, too man polarizing matchups.
For example, this morning playing as priest, I get a warrior and hunter, and two mages. Only one of those matchups was non polarizing which was the warrior matchup. The two mage games were instant concede because both games they played IF twice in the first two turns. I can handle one and most of the time heal through the burst, but when you get two IFs early it is good game. You just herd all the direct damage spells and basically one turn kill.
Now I was on the other side of the hunter matchup.
Anyways rant over, to many polarizing matchups

Youâre playing Priest, which is the most polarizing class. The Hunter had no chance, the Warrior not much of a chance.
I agree with your overall sentiment, though. Itâs too much rock, paper, scissors.

He plays priest and complains about mage.
Thatâs a good joke. Priest should be deleted from the game.

I just wish people would stop killing my Plaguemaw. Or at least kill it after youâve killed one of my taunts. Iâm just trying to get some achievements done, damn it.

Honestly, the most frustrating thing is that almost everyone is playing the exact same Standard deck. I guess I play for the wrong reasons - I want a fun, interesting, creative game - but people just buy or copy popular decks and itâs the same thing over and over and over again. Boring!

I just made a big post about this titled Opinion: Wild is Going in a Dangerous Direction. Check it out, itâs pretty in-depth and took me a while to write lol.
Disconections, freezes, lag to make almost everything in mobile even with a good cellphone
Honestly, right now, my biggest frustration is with Battlegrounds. Blizzard likes to release new tribes and then not placed them into rotation for months. I am really tired of getting one shot by Omu or one of the more powerful heroes by turn nine. Really, if you are even trying to experiment an learn new synergies (like a new menagerie build etc) itâs just impossible. It was like this when Elementals were released so I took a break and will likely do the same this time. The other aspect is the damage taken. To be hit for 10-20 on turn 5 or 6 is just ridiculous. I am actually considering getting on the Kripparian train here (and believe me it took a long time to come to this conclusion) and think that heroâs base health needs a boost. Alternatively, damage output needs a looksie by the Devs. Itâs a game mode I love and mainly play but there is absolutely no room for testing/playing around with new build outs atm unless you are the first to T6 and have good luck with Bob. I think, they should also consider a casual Battle mode so you can test new tribes and builds without concern your MMR will be impacted. I am indifferent to mine and am ok if I donât win, but this being one-shot on T3-T4 is ridiculous. And no, itâs not a âget gudâ issue, itâs just the Hero vs health pool imbalance atm.
I just did it. Itâs frustrating. Try what I did:
Use broom stick. Survive until late game which is possible with so many taunts. Summon two 1/2 taunts with the spell, put down plaguemaw, germification if you have if not then another taunt, then broomstick and ram them into enemies to commit suicide. With the amount of removals, there is little chance any minion will survive past one turn.
I also packed acolyte and frenzy and the rank spell at the same time so I can progress on multiple achievements at the same time.

Yes. When you see warlock in standard, you know itâs the tickatus, yshaarg, strongman, tamsin, soul shard version. Thereâs only one. And Iâve not seen any mage beyond no minion mage other than maybe one or two hero power mage.
This helps me to memorise the play though. If too many decks itâs confusing for my old brain to know what opponent is planning.

The most frustrating for me is drawing all my late game in the early game. That is so annoying.
I did read that post and my question is what about players like me that enjoy Wild the way it is? The most memorable matches are the most unpredictable.
I do enjoy Res Priest and Odd Paladin: two of my favorite decks of all time. If Blizzard balances Wild like they do Standard, it would just be Standard 2.0.
Is variety necessary? Absolutely. Do I enjoy other archetypes? Yes, I do. I have some beloved midrange decks that donât see much play anymore but that is the nature of Wild (as you mentioned in your long post.)
Theres a ton of players that enjoy Wild as it is - balancing Wild would be a slap in the face to those players.

I condone slapping players in the face if it keeps them awake and the game alive.
Also, I suspect most honest players would be the first to speak up if cards that seemed innocuous in previous expansions turn out to be the gaming equivalent of an angry John Wick.
The only way they can balance Wild effectively is to create Wild exclusive cards or create cards that can combat the current (heavy) imbalances Wild is suffering from.
Mage playing IF on 2 isnât a polarized matchup issue. Every single matchup becomes easier for the Mage after early game IF. If it was a polarity issue the early IF would only affect specific matchups.
Early IF is a Highroll issue, similar to pre nerf Scrap Imp and Barnes; and also Keleseth.
Early Crabrider into buffs was also a Highroll, that was thankfully removed. Itâs a shame they left IF as is, even though we must acknowledge that the RSW nerf did slow the deck a little bit.

I am playing since Beta and i never conceded a game right after seeing my opponent´s class. Now i am doing it very often. And i don´t even care about rank much.

If this game is frustrating you. You might want to just stop playing now and deal with real life. You shouldnât be letting a digital card game get you upset. Itâs not health for your emotional well being. FYI: Rank and being âlegendâ donât mean jack. Literally anyone including a new player on a free account can get legend. Itâs not skill that gets you to legend but surviving the grind.

The one deck I liked (clown priest) got needed and itâs miracle priest cancer or bust âŚ
For me the endless draw combined with discovery, itâs almost impossible to empty your hand

Right now, nothing about the game is frustrating me.
The matchmaking sucks.
I was stuck at Platinum 5 for WEEKS. I even made a QQ thread about it.
I decided, if you canât beat 'em, join 'em.
I made a secret Paladin and went from Platinum 5 to Diamond 5 in about 50 or so matches.
Now, Iâm stuck at Diamond 5. It just wonât move.
Should I learn to play?
I mean, I think I know how to play, as evidenced by me jumping from P5 to D5 with the same deck.
Now I magically forgot how to play secret pally?
Something changed.
Ohhh⌠I know! Iâm facing smarter players! Nope, thatâs not it.
Go ahead and tell me what changed.
Tell me how I am now up against super clever players and all the randow âweird stuffâ I am seeing isnât happening.
Tell me Blizzard has no incentive to keep me tilted.
Tell me why I faced 0 Taunt Druids in my climb and now they are all at D5. Tell me why they donât lose, lmao.
