Seriously is there a coding issue like where Nat Paggle was drawing more than 50% of the time ? At least two times out of three it’s Huffer that comes out of Animal Companion.
I wish
Then play against me
I hate playing against hunters. I think any hunter playing a netdeck in casual is a pathetic coward. I relish the moments when i come back after they bm and they concede or leave the game (which is often, cause hunters attract a particular mindset). I say all this not to trigger anyone or start a flame war, but so you believe me when i say that it feeling that way means it is truly random. Ive counted 5 in a row one time, when i was keeping track cause salt had me feeling similar to you. But then i went a week and never saw a single one (huffer, not hunter, theres always hunters). If it was 1 every 3rd cast it wouldnt be random. Thankfully. Imagine knowing what random beast youd get. shudder
That being said, calling the worst one when they cast it and being right is the most confirmation bias feeling ever, and it sucks.
I wish. Whenever Animal Companion’s used against me, it’s Misha. I’d much rather face Huffer early-game. End-game’s opposite, but I never see Animal Companion there.
Yes there was with nat pagle, and the community checked huffer and the draw rate of all companions is equal.
The reason you think differently is because getting huffered just hurts that much more you remember it more.
I know right?
Disguisetoast did a study on this and there are websites that say each spawn equally. And that maybe so over the millions of games that are played. But how many times does he spawn vs you? Same for me. Especially if the Hunter is player a Hyper aggro deck. Ah yes Huffer, perfect.
Because he is the only one you care about seeing so you always remember it while tossing away any other occurrences. Its a trick the human mind does to itself so that it always remembers bad outcomes to help with self survival and leads to most of the confirmation biases we see.
Good news we invented the scientific method to help us track actual outcomes. Feel free to actually track your data and share.
Bish please, I played the current list before Bunnyhoppor (including all the tech choices for various matchups), and subsequently all the hungry netdeckers followed.
So a Warrior playing a net deck in casual is AOK?
What about the guy playing the net deck Twist Warlock? Is that OK?
Don’t you know that face is the place? Why would it not be Huffer? Huffer is only not OK when you have 6 unleashed hounds and the 7th spot is reserved for Elekk.
lol, some people getting defensive. i’m just speaking for myself, shouldn’t let a stranger on the internet be your validation.
So for yourself I am a pathetic coward because I played over a dozen different Hunter net decks (most often non meta decks) in casual?
Yes, I am the coward who played Dragon Hunter, Ashmore Hunter, Control Hunter, Secret Hunter during Witchwood, etc; all because only the Ashmore Hunter was a homebrew.
That’s some uninstall-worthy cowardice there, bub.
Ok nice switch from the topic. Anyway got 4 huffers for 5 Animal companions played last game (3 during the game and two from Zuljin). I’m just unlucky I guess.
Looks like you got outskilled. Git Gud nub
Imagine playing against 100 different Hunters that all run Animal Companion. Each Hunter has a 1 in 3 chance of getting Huffer.
Of course some of them are going to be Huffer. Do you have replays to prove your point? Have you actually met any of these players?
Also, Hunter was pretty big at the last Grandmasters. Of course players are going to play Hunter!
Your salt is absolutely delicious. Oh, btw, not only do I have Alleria, I also have golden portrait. See you on the ladder!
Funny, there’s another topic that claims it’s always Leok. Who to believe?
Obviously the players that never play Hunter, complain about Hunter and always lose to Hunter.
Those guys know whats up
