Why Hasn't They Fixed Turn 1 Resizing Pouch for Hunter?

Resizing Pouch discover a card with cost equal to remaining mana.
You just can’t get 0 cost cards for Hunter.

[added] Neutral card has 0 cost imp and murloc. There are situation where I have no card to play at turn 1, or I want maximize board control , or a setup for my Vol’jin next turn or same turn. So it’s important to have a 0 cost minion discovered.

I saw it was brought up month ago, and yet it’s still not fixed?!
(I understand you cannot discover 0 cost Druid card, will be nice though )

Does hunter have 0 cost cards in standard?

No.

Which makes this the biggest non-issue imaginable.

Is there even a 0 cost minion at this point? I want to say the imp, but what synergy would a hunter even have with a 1/1 demon. I mean I could see MAYBE some weird world where you’d want it, but like 1/1000 games maybe.

They put the 0 Cost 1/1 Murloc in Core and the 0 mana 1/1 Imp still in.

As mentioned, there are some neutral 0-cost options, so the card should work simply put. Why would someone waste this card for Tinyfin Murloc or Desk Imp? Well, I have no doubt with the huge amount of games played each day, a situation where you’d want this actually happens like once a day or so (of all games played per day, not per player).

Besides, a Discover card should NEVER have no options (unless it Discovers from a very specific pool of cards of course, like using Thrive in the Shadows with 0 Spells in deck), that’s just bad mechanics. They knew that when they made Hydrologist, letting you Discover Paladin secrets as Warlock for example. Same logic should apply here: no cards available for your specific class? Then it should show Hunter/Druid cards (even if you’re already 1 of those classes). So in this case: it should show Tinyfin, Desk Imp, and 1 0-cost Druid card.

Don’t class discover cards only discover from within your class unless stated otherwise?

Yes, but as mentioned, if no such cards are available this limitation should be lifted and instead should be looked at what class the Discover-card is from, like how Hydrologist lets Warlock Discover Paladin Secrets for example. But even if such an interaction didn’t exist before, that’s still just bad mechanics if you didn’t get to Discover anything.

There’s other examples where it still does nothing like discover X in opponents deck when they have none or your own deck for that matter.

And the class the discover card is from is hunter, which has no 0 cost cards.

And Druid, it’s a multi-class card. So if for Hunter it can only show 2 cards fitting the requirement that are either Hunter or Neutral, it should show a Hunter or Druid card for the remaining spot, meaning a Druid card since there are no 0-cost Hunter cards (and if there were there wouldn’t be a need for this of course)

Why on earth would it need to show druid cards when the person’s CLASS is hunter? You people are just reaching. It is a bad play to use the card turn 1 in 99.999% of situations anyway. It’s basically fake outrage.

Discover cards only discover your class or Neutral unless otherwise stated.

It can sometimes look like it’s only your class if you’re mostly using Discover a Spell cards, since there are no Neutral spells.

But Resizing Pouch should be able to Discover Imp and Tinyfin, as others have said.

Because that is a Discover ruling: if your class doesn’t have 3 options, you get to Discover from the card’s class. See Hydrologist for example: if your class has no Secrets, you get to Discover from Hydrologist’s class instead: Paladin.

There’s a whine post for everything these days.

That exception only works for “Discover a Secret” cards.

Because only 4 classes have Secrets, it’s a work around if one of the other 6 classes gets a hold of one of those discover cards.

The only other Discover card that might work that way for something other than Secrets is probably Pack Kodo’s Discover a Weapon option in a class without weapons of its own.

Edit: Thinking about Pack Kodo, it’s possible that if a non-weapon class got a copy in Standard, they’d just be offered Sphere of Sapience, since that’s available for the moment.

Just like how not all classes have 0-cost cards? It’s the same thing.

It’s not the same thing. All classes have access to the Neutral 0-cost cards.

If your class doesn’t have Secrets, on the other hand, you’d get nothing at all.

I had this card as an OP to the max card bc i thought you’d be able to find innervate bloom or rogue coin off this, or even a backstab. Is discover 100 percent only your own class cards is that how it works these days i know it got overhauled once or twice from how it used to be.
