my shrimp lawyers are saying it is still not, in fact, April 
I think one of the reasons might be alot of shamans cards are from the new expansion and they wanted to wait abit before nerfing them.
I think a few weeks after the miniset we might have a balance patch and i could see them nerfing shaman because players dont like facing it.
Lastly im not sure but apprently this deck is not that good at high legend and falls off abit unless im mistaken ofc.

Like Plague DK, asteroids crap on noobs who don’t have a cogent game plan in their deck, so yes, people still complain about it.
None of those complaints are remotely valid, but they exist.

Ethereal Oracle is making Asteroid Shaman, Eruptions… and all the OTK too OP right now. But Dungar is just as big problem because it is working for only Druids and only because of the stupid mana ramping… otherwise it would be useless. Mana ramping should be changed to give both players empty mana crystal, not just for Druid… than it wouldn’t be so unfair. Because mana is the most important thing in the game, it is really not fair to let Druid have 2-3 times more mana crystals than the enemy have and mainly too early.
The real culprit. It has shined even in my meme-y draenei mage deck. It’s just so versatile, be it drawing my spells to prepare my arkwing turn, or giving my mage drink just a tiny bit more damage to clear their board.
Though not something that’s OP or anything, I’ll take this opportunity to say that I think they should rework Margatha to actually give your opponent any “cast when drawn” spells, be they plagues and asteroids/eruptions. I think this would make the card more interesting in using the card.
Right now there’s basically no penalty to use Margatha with asteroids/eruptions, making the asteroid shaman deck that uses Margaha (I know not every list does) take even less skill/thinking.
It’s also my opinion (I know it’s just an opinion) that Margatha being a way to give plagues back to the DK is better than currently where it continues to help the DK.
It seems good for the level of skill who can’t go diamond easily, though to be fair the best version of the deck is not ABSOLUTELY ludicrous. If they manage to pull Incindius on curve then it has a chance against a lot of good decks.
But the version without Incidius is just BAD. It has no chance late game and its early game is meh.
Anyone trying to play reno, lol.
Before the buff to reno, plagues hard countered highlander decks.
And the same people that complain about asteroid shaman, lol.

If you think Asteroid Shaman is ok you are out of your mind. And that is not about power level, it is about toxic play patterns. This deck was designed by a toddler for other toddlers.

Asteroid Shaman is fine. It punishes greed decks and it folds to aggro. If you are struggling consider either going wider on board earlier or running more burn
Asteroid Cycle Rogue and Asteroid Discover Hunter are WAY better decks.
