Why does the Warrior get the broken cards every time?

Hamm, the Hungry legendary seems completely broken, like everything else Warrior has lately. Boomboss is completely broken, same is Brann, same is Dr Boom, same is its legendary from excavate.
No other class has such level of power and single cards that can completely destroy the opponent’s win condition.

Isn’t this just a 6 mana 5/5 gnomeferatu? (Like the 2 mana 2/3 warlock card from Frozen throne but it hits a minion and I don’t expect it to live more than 1 turn very often).

by turn 6 you should be able to destroy a 5/5 minion

No, it’s more targeted than gnomeferatu.

For example: gnomeferatu against Odyn warrior is a 1/30 chance to hit Odyn.

Since that deck runs very few minions, Hamm is much, much more likely to hit Odyn if not drawn yet.

It’s still primarily an anti combo deck card because it’s deleting resources not yet drawn (therefore not real resources yet), but it is definitely frustrating that they are getting this in addition to boomboss, and that it repeats if not killed.

Because it’s the most boring class to play so you gotta offer people some incentive to play it

Tbh I thought Draconic Delicacy was the scarier card, Moonfang but with elusive and even more health. Hamm will probably only ever eat 1 card, obviously it will be annoying when it hits, but dirty rat is still the cheaper option for disruption.

Anti combo cards are healthy for the game (in some amount), right?

Sure, but why does Warrior have to get all of them?

I guess warrior kills warrior now with the anti warrior combo cards?

You are correct. This is just my least favorite kind… Random, repeatable, and paired with another strong one in the same class (boomboss) that’s already way too strong.

It’s a card that has the possibility to hard punish a pure combo deck. Nothing wrong with a card like that existing. You won’t play it in your deck normally unless the meta shifts to multiple combo decks that it can punish. It might see some play in ETC but IMO Rat is just flat out better because of hand tracking.

Hunter is my least played class by a wide margin outside of DH, which is relatively new. I just never liked it. Boring smorc decks.

I like a good smorc deck sometimes, but hunter’s just aren’t interesting at all.

Uh hamm can be repeated with the 1 mana location combined with the 4 mana location… add in that 4 mana card that becomes a 3/3 copy… and the 3 mana copy a damaged minion. You could copy more if you really wanted to with zola, cards that duplicate locations but thats getting greedy

Assuming against a minion deck you can thin the deck out and fill it with bombs from that 3 mana card and that 8/8 rush minion and bombboss TNT. At least that would be my initial deck idea. Whether its viable or not… probably not but I doubt anyone will have fun playing against it.

A card like hamm should not go in a class with unlimited stall in healing/removal and the ability to generate a billion copies of it.

Same here. The most (maybe the only) interesting hunter card ever printed was deathstalker rexxar. Building beasts was the most fun hunter ever offered.

I actually don’t mind the cards revealed for warrior. If anything it feels more like they are pushing for “big warrior” which I can respect.

We don’t know what cards druid will have until later today, but the major lack in battlecries for warrior this set is also a major sigh of relief. Here’s hoping druid doesn’t have any insane cards that brann can abuse.

That is true. No minion mage would easily counter that card.
