Why do healing decks exist?

They absolutely RUIN the game. Every time I face a priest, shaman, or druid who is 100% dedicated to only board clear and healing, the match takes 20 minutes. The absolute worst are the blood death knights, absolutely insane how a class can heal over max health just to waste time. The thing is, I WIN almost every game I play against one of these decks, and I see them in bronze, silver, and gold. It slows down the game to a halt and completely kills my enjoyment. WHY does anyone think this garbage is fun? WHY does blizzard continue to make decks like this? THIS is the reason why I only play battlegrounds and don’t spend money on this garbage p2w scheme!!!

I saw a shudderwock shaman in wild the other day that just made an endless loop and I have to say it was the literal most toxic thing I have ever seen. I can’t understand why the card hasn’t been completely removed from the game after watching that crap.

This is (one reason) why most players don’t play wild.

This is so true! Death to Healing!

When you pick a name like that it is hard to disguise your view point

No Heal or no DEAL! We need to get the message out!

Does it really matter why, so long as they do? I mean, why do you think YOUR deck is fun? Could it be considered “garbage” by someone else? What if most Hearthstone players don’t like the same things you do?

Stabilization tools are completely necessary for a ccg. Why hearthstone players in particular have a double standard (insane damage is fine, almost as insane healing is outrageous) I’ll never understand. Also, there’s no such thing as a healing deck (or rather, there is but that’s almost certainly not what you’re facing). It’s just a control deck which has healing in it. The wincon is something else entirely, the healing is just to not die.

healing is pretty normal…im pretty sure the oldest card game i know about mtg has it

Late mechanics and does not run these days! Better is damage to the face!

Play an aggro deck, problem solved.

Tbh, priest healing is very lackluster compared to what paladins can do…and healing isn’t as good as armor generation…just look at druids, the kings of armor gain in HS now.

Currently no other class can heal for 5 every other turn for the rest of the game, so technically they are the kings of healing.

I mean, technically Brukan can heal 6 and it heals all friendly characters until the game ends. All you gotta do it hit a 1 in 3 every other turn.

It’s less likely, so less powerful in my mind. Also you don’t always need to heal your minions, so there’s going to be turns where you hit it and don’t have minions that need healing.

Warlock, priest, and paladin all have healing as part of their class identity. Druid and warrior too if you count armor. Death knight…kind of does everything really well, including healing.

Healing is so far below in terms of power compared to armor gain and burst damage in this game that it’s hilarious that anyone would even complain about it.

What’s next? A complaint about Inspire?

What deck builds are you running?

If I still cared about Arena I could totally pull this off. The Grand Tournament was clearly not designed with Demon Hunter in mind.

except xyrella swaps bestween the heal and the dmg so it only 2.5 on average per turn from xurella…
