Why didn’t Blizz let the new Event Quest weekly be done in Wild? They must hate us or me at least.

They should have allowed quests to be done in Twist mode too. Aren’t they selling Twist-targeted bundles in the store right now? Dumb.

Im also finding it awkward, i havent played standard for years…
The bgs option doesn’t help either unless you want to complete the first phase the next month…
well you do have 20 days to complete it so close enough
your mmr must be low so it must be way easier for you to build an aggro deck and do it in standard

Twist is doomed because no F2P person wants to play it, and no format in this game can survive without F2P players. They should be giving the cards of it temporarily for free and sell cosmetics instead.
PS Someone had said “give them extra wild packs after they play”. F2P players are not in the habit of being abused by losing with very bad decks when they’ll get a few cards after Twist is over.

It pisses me off. I’m a Wild player. And I misread it as Ranked, rather than Ranked Standard. I was hopping mad. THIRTY GAMES. No wonder people like to play braindead aggro decks.

I’m a wild player too, and i’ve just done 30 AFK Runs in Standard while waching a movie at Home

you can play like you normally do as always and still earn the special xp for the event bit by bit. you can completely ignore the fact there are even quests at all for that xp if you play enough matches.
Yeah i collected 300 pts by simply playing wild in a single session, but it is one of those small details that become big if no one pays attention… These quests are discriminatory.

only if you self impose restrictions on yourself. and discrimination itself isnt a bad thing. its entirely dependent on what the criteria is that is to discriminated against.
The HOV lane in traffic is discriminating between vehicles based on their number of passengers. nothing wrong with that. The bicycle lane does a similar discrimination to single out a special lane only intended for those on bikes. The sidewalk discriminates against all vehicles from being able to use that part of a roadway to allow a safe spot for people on foot.
Discriminating based on a protected CLASS would make it the bad/wrong type of discriminating. Race/ age/ color/ sex/ gender/ creed/ religion.
and even then some have a tiny carve-out of exceptions such as when a bar has a “ladie’s night” special promo or a buffet offers a “senior citizen discount”.
just because you limit yourself to only one type of gameplay doesnt mean you are being a victim of discrimination.
Looks like they’re experiencing a loss of playerbase, so they want us grouped up in 2 game modes, rather than 3 or 4, to maintain the illusion that the game is still full of players

Or they just want people to give those two main game modes another chance, if they gave it up due to some failed expansion or a decision

They do not care about Wild, they give almost no support to Wild so they are not promoting Wild. Simples.

It’s not about which game modes are the most popular. It’s about the fact that they want them to become even more popular, since they’re not rewarding Wild, Twist and Arena anymore.
