Like…was that the reason? To make even worse openings to play against, that the charge would just be even more oppressive than things already are now? Also is there a way for odd DH to beat pirate warrior? I must be 0/5 at this point against them, seems like a super bad matchup but I’m curious if anyone knows a way to win
Probably because they weren’t thinking what, three years ahead when nerfing Patches? And would you like Pirate warrior to have access to the old Patches again?

The first mistake is to assume that they learn from their mistakes…they don’t. Same mistakes are made every expansion as the powercreep is necessary for them to make us pay more money for broken version of cards that currently exist or have previously existed. In addition, classic cards keep getting removed in order to allow for similar cards with nearly identical functions or effects to be sold at a premium.
Then they should have just left patches as is. Wouldn’t be hardly any more broken than it already is, why not just break it a little more, you know?
