So, I made a deck from scratch ranked all the way to platinum with it which is cool. The problem is now I only play against meta decks that people copy offline… every now and then ill get a real creative deck someone made but its mostly just the same decks over and over and I cannot drop out of this rank. Any suggestions besides build a meta deck because that is lame…
Not from me.
90% of homebrews are cringe.
Keep playing Ranked. Concede when you see a “meta” deck. Eventually you’ll get bots.
Play Casual. Same as above. You’re more likely to see lower tier or off-meta decks. Don’t win too much though, I think there’s an internal MMR for Casual too.
Play Arena. Still a meta but not guaranteed to hit them until higher wins. Resets with every ticket.
Play Adventures. No people means no meta. Don’t be a hypocrite and look up guides though.
Play Practice against Innkeeper. Now you can win every time with your cool homebrew.
Copy, paste, and print out every card. Cut and laminate for durability. Kidnap a group of young children, teach them how to play the game, play them face to face, keep them isolated when not playing Hearthstone with you. Obviously no contact with the outside world lest they search for tier lists and netdecks. Of course, keep them separate at all times so they can’t communicate with each other as well to prevent an internal meta from forming within the group.
Or get some friends. But remember! Isolate them from each other and the world or you waste all that effort by letting a meta form!
Sounds like you are against the rank floors. Rank floors are the only reason this game has survived, if you ask me.
If not for rank floors, certain classes and their players would spend the entire cycle at gold rank or worse.
I think a great many players would quit this game without them.
I know I would.
ive been playing casual for a few weeks now with homebrew, its been a real blast
