Just curious, have found myself playing the game less and less lately and honestly could care less if i reach legend knowing that i could be top 1000 every month, but i just dont care about the direction the game has taken over honestly the past three years. And now i play the game but not near as much, just when i have some spare time.

Seriously, I am right there with you. I have hardly played this expansion, and am really hoping I make it to level 100. If you could elaborate, why do you think you’re playing less and less?
This is a drinking game for me. That is it. I work all the time. Phone calls, meetings, scheduling, contracts, all work all the time.
So I use this forum and the game to distract me. It is like free therapy to be honest. I will sit there on a call drinking, posting in this forum and making decisions worth millions of dollars, LMFAO!

I am with ya goramier, i play while doing dishes or laundry or projects on my homestead i am trying to get started. And yes sometimes i have a drink while playing and relaxing jn the evening. If anything the game is more casuak for me now

I was hitting legend most month lbs for a bit in wild, usually with a combo of meme/off meta decks. The format makes these decks dreadful to play, and hitting legend and still running into pirate rogue/even shaman bots made me just not care even more. Not expecting an amazing win rate, but, the power level of decks is just stupid now and makes the game a coin flip simulator of whether you steam roll this deck or it steamrolls you. I feel like it’s just a habit at this point. It’s easy to play during downtime at work. But even that is not enough to hold my interest much lately. Bummer, I really used to enjoy this game.
This is a toilet game for me.

Team 5 has driven the game into a ditch.
It’s a mind numbing chore to play now.
This is what comes of hiring streamers who know nothing about actual card design, and allow their personal biases to dictate decision making.
It’s also the result of giving Celestalon a leadership role.
I highly doubt the child can successfully relieve himself without assistance.
They should fire the lot, and beg Brian Kibler to come on board, no matter his price.

I just find the power creep is really spoiling the game.
Draw power
Mana cheat
Incredibly sticky boards that removal can’t keep up with, made worse by cheap draw and or resource recovery
Damage from the hand that also hits face
Discovery minions
Games are more and more about who can steamroll their opponent by turn 6 and most of the time you can tell by your opening hand if you’ve won.

I expected to start playing less as the meta seemed boring and frustrating before even knowing the cards. And this is quite so true.
So I picked up playing Wild and kinda like it, its more than a year ago that I played it actually. So far I like it, many varied decks, I played like 70 games and have only met the exact same deck like 3 times or so, the rest were unique matchups.
So thats cool right? I’m currently at D10 playing my own unique Bazaar tempo rogue deck.
I enjoy wild less than ever now.
Team 5 has printed so many cards that have nothing to do with class identity that it has ruined the format.
It’s one thing to have a Warrior beat you with armor and weapons.
It’s another to have them beat you with a five mana flamestrike.
I playing less to but in general it’s more complicated when the class you enjoy play get basically a pile of junk.
I still able to climb fine but i do that exactly because i know that most new mage cards are junk.
And i not talking about junk you have to put in specfic decks but about junk you should not even dare to put in a deck.

They thought they fixed battle grounds by replacing poison with venomous. It is just the same or worse . Reborn mantid queen is destroying people and don’t forget the murloc that has death rattle of spreading venomous. They need to remove it from the game permanently. this is my reason for playing less and less.
