Pretty sure I will probably have two rustrots in my deck starting tomorrow for any deck I play that isn’t super aggressive

I don’t think 99% of players even realize what monstrosity is about to hit them tomorrow to even think about rustrots. Tomorrow this forum will be filled with how broken Mr Smite is lol

vs warrior the ship reequips every turn, so won´t do terribly much there, and i doubt weapon rogue will go mainstream before smite gets nerfed.

Not me starting tomorow im going to force my very own incomplete Big Spell Mage deck list into Legend.
Going to be glorious , and by that i mean an unprecedented disaster that might lead to a new mouse and keyboard purchase.

pls post the list here if you manage to mix sth together with that mess of mage cards that can make it into legend reasonably (meaning more than 50.1%winrate), especially in a weapon/face meta.
I might do so , i thinking of using Cthun for the win con , i have high hopes for Deepwater Invoker and i think Celestial Ink Set will finaly see some decent play.
My big fear is many classes starting to slot in weapon removal because of the pirates, we will see.

mh, i have one so so Grand Finale Deck running Ink Set and i kinda like it, the main problem is that it does reduce a random spell and not just the one with the highest cost…making it really bad to pair alongside Brain Freeze which is one of the better stall tools right now.

Already toke that one to Legend, decent climb but the deck is horrible at high Legend lost like 1000 rank with it, good players will always destroy you the decks too honest , that turn you have to set elementals is a dead giveaway.
A well placed Cult Neophyte crushes you realy bad.
that´s were ink set can shine - neophyte does nothing to a 3mana finale.
I might have some optimism that Mr Smite is not going to hit as hard as we perceive. as charge can only affect minions that are summoned on that turn, so playing it in a deck might be a little slow and hard to fit into the pirate warrior deck. currently, I have found that there are several Pirate Warrior list not running Southsea Captian, which might be our current card close to this new one. The only scary part is the juggernaut, to which I would not be surprised if Mr Smite gets nerfed to be a battlecry.
And we did see lots of people cry, prior to this expansion release, that the priest ql was op.
The Finale deck i toke to Legend was built around only 4 spells with massive draw with tradeable cards ,Starscryer and Frostweave Dungeoneer.
I would cheat out Finale on turn 6 (or 5 with coin) with Hot Streak.
Win on turn 7 or bust thats the whole stategy on the deck i used.
i thought so, really did not enjoy that one much as it really had been terribly predictable.

I reached legend on this month season using q mage lol
we have been talking about a Big Spell Mage of some kind, Questmage is a mess alright and it should not make it to legend ever but alas the world is a terrible place as is and it is the single Tier 3+ deck mage has right now
Thats an interesting list with Antonidas as a 2nd win con , sadly i dont have him and i will only craft him if they make Fire Mage decent.
I was realy hoping for Fire Mage buffs last patch instead we got hero Power buffs that did nothing.
Shame.
i mean the HP buffs pushed my freezemage from Tier 4 to 4+ i feel?
…yea it´s really sad they could not stick with one archetype and make it work.
Got Tony as the first legendary this expansion so i did built quite a few lists with him in the beginning, then abandoned the idea for a while because he did not work with spelldmg, but now that he does finally after being stealth fixed that´s the most reasonable deck i could come up with for him.
This was the last time i played Freeze and Hero Power Mage all in 1 deck.
I like to make my own list and climb when new cards come out i will for sure change to a more refined list later but my climbs are always like that.

Then the Pirate players will start running Golakka Glutton and eat your snakes.
Doesnt matter what they say about the tier rating… U want it to be tier 5 or tier 1 so be it cause it just people opinions… The only thing mattered for me is that it carried me to legend on day one reset
