There’s no way this deck competes with the lethality of Odyn, Sif, or Nature Shaman. Probably not even Sludgelock. But I’ll try, the Dormant memes might be stronk.
Nice list. I’d cut Fel Fissure for something cheaper but otherwise it’s a solid deck. I don’t think it would be very strong but the list is well-rounded anyways.
I figure that some of these choices are directed at damaging your own minions to proc the location, but Fel Fissure is such a poor card at 4 mana that I think overall the list is a little heavy on high cost cards
I’m eager to see Pirate Rogue. I wonder if it’ll be as good as Outcast Rush DH was in FoL - the main legendary payoff being 6 mana might be prohibitive.
It’s certainly got draw, though, with Raiding Party. And Southsea Deckhand gives me flashbacks. Think Leeroy will end up in aggressive Rogue lists again? Shadowstep and Breakdance are still here.
Oh, and if Bounce Around shows up in a meta list, I’m going to shake my fist and say “I told you so.”
It’s literally just there for the self-harm to activate Crimson Expanse. Plus DH is losing Topple the Idol and Unleash Fel. Fissure might be one of the better control tools, which is saying a lot.
Raging Felscreamer is still in Standard but I’m wondering if it’s possible to run a 4-mana 4/4 that does nothing, let alone 2.
I think it’s going to be abused hard in the time between rotation and expansion release. But in this list there just isn’t a lot of space for it. And once you manage to throw the legendary, everything is going face anyways so it’s probably not that important.
Your list seems great.
Let me just say though you should either make it Aggro focused or Combo focused.
With your list I think you don’t have the draw to make the Legendary deal any significant amount of damage and it and Sandbox Scoundrel can be a tad slow.
I think you should turn this one you made into two decks and try them both.
Aggro and Combo bec the Legendary is too expensive to be easily played with all these low cost Pirates
I think it’s both aggro and combo actually. Similar to the current aggro naga hunter. I don’t think there are many other options when it comes to pirates in the upcoming set really, but I will consider what you say when I get to properly test this if it doesn’t turn out good
I don’t see how not xD Considering it was removed from play because of that combo, I see no way in world it doesn’t see play in all Rogue decks, even a mech one if it still survives xD
But who knows? New expansions tend to shuffle things so much that I don’t even recognize the classes by their packages anymore
If some crazy decks full of deathrattle taunt minions dominate the meta, it’s goodbye to such shennanigans (i’m looking at Shaman and Warlock right now - their plays are both 6 mana taunts so that cancels the Leeroy turn 6 idea)
I feel like this lacks draw to be more consistent. I’d test this out to see how it goes and if necessary I’d cut something for Frost Lotus Seedling. The Hero Power package is too large to fit here, but a deck could be built for an aggro version with those.
Yeah I also don´t think this is the list. If you manage to draw Crimson Clergy this could pop off. If you don’t… I guess you die. But priest will have NO DRAW next cycle it’s kinda nuts. I had to slot Metrognome in, just imagine.
A little greedy. Could cut Sunset Volley since there’s no way to cheat it. But otherwise it doesn’t look that bad. Plenty of control tools to stay alive, some nice tempo and a touch of inevitability to push incremental damage towards the endgame.
All the codes are from the Hearthstone Top Decks web. I’m not sure they’d work ingame or in the official builder.
There is no way this deck and Galactic Projection Orb aren’t meta-defining at some point in the next two years. The more spells we get, the more you can curate that decklist to do crazy things. I might even try a list that’s got Audio Splitter as the only minion with hopefully some minion tutor effect.
I was trying to see what mage decks I can cook for the next expansion, following the recent mage conversations so here is what I cooked. I can’t promise it’s all good, obviously.
