When will they rebalance the game more properly?

Right now, Mage’s win rate is sky high while that of Rogue is down in the bottomless pit, along with some other classes like Priest and Warrior.

From my point of view, the current meta is almost balanced if it had some adjustments.

  1. Mildly nerf Mage by increasing the mana cost of Skyla for just 1 mana.
  2. Mildly nerf Demon Hunter by increasing the mana cost of Sigil of Skydiving for just 1 mana.
  3. Mildly nerf Paladin by increasing the mana cost of Sanc’Azel for 1 mana also.

I believe that doing this would let those bottom classes to have some rooms and rise up a little bit.

Never is the real answer, despite Blizzard or anyone else saying different. They gave up many releases ago, now they just print OP cards each release, nerf whatever was there so people will buy the new ones, then repeat.

I noticed a mech rogue is doing well, deck code: AAECAaIHBrb2Ber6BY6WBsekBvTJBszhBgz3nwTZ0AXe0AW/9wWm+AXm+gWh/AXn/QW5/gXLngaVyganygYAAQPxswbHpAbyswbHpAbu3gbHpAYAAA==

it’s played at the highest levels of Legend successfully.

Mabye when they change their philosophy on card design… as it stands now they want ‘big power turns’ so you get cards like Razzle Dazzler, whatever way you want to cheat out tsunami/sunset volley, marin into 0 mana whatever, a bunch of early game swarm tokens that get buffed up into lethal on turn 5

Only when its turn 7 your health is at 30, your opponent has nothing on the board and you don’t have to wonder how you’re not dead that turn will the game return from the swingy rng highroll nonsense it is today

The power creep will never stop

When they discontinue Hearthstone 1 and start Hearthstone 2 but that will only last until the first expansion of Hearthstone 2.

They will have another chance for it after the next year card rotation… but I am not expecting anything anymore from this developer team… the current problems will be still in Wild… so I think that mode is done… These removers should never been created like Reno, Yogy, Brann, Reska, Priest and Warlock Titan… Boomboss, Simphony of Sins (Yes, these are also removers… just worse than others…) These cards were the biggest mistake the card designers ever made and may cause the death of the game easily… not to mention endless mana cheat, resource generating and super strong aggro…

Answer: I don’t want to spoil anything, but answer is 4.

I know that is going to ruin it for some people, but they don’t have the read the whole paragraph – that is an option.

The OP misunderstands the problem of this meta; its has little to do with the mage WINRATE; the winrate is relatively small compared to a bunch of archetypes that farm it routinely.

The problem is that it warps the meta to be way too fast; that’s because it’s mainly beaten by very fast decks and the slow control decks do little to it; it’s too “on hand combo”.

I’m personally bored of playing only simple fast decks; I win easy but I don’t want to do that for hours; the designers should probably gravitate the game towards mid-range.

The answer is never. They will kill mage, but something just as busted will replace it. Welcome to the new normal of Hearthstone.
The designers do nothing but double down on stupid design choices.
