When is Raza Priest getting nerfed back to 1 cost hero power?

Title. This combo should have never been unnerfed from 1 mana. Explain how it is healthy to have near unlimited ability to do 12+ damage per turn, coupled with the retarded amount of card generation and cards that inspire to do 4 damage when hero power is used.

Edit: or nerf its support cards.

By allowing a swiss knife deck that while strong in general not really excel in any area you unpolarize the wild metagame creating a better average experience with the format.

If decks like it didn’t exist wild would be literal rock, paper, scissors the card game.

I got that many people not like the combo itself but from the bad things the lesser one.

Never… It keeps on check some other decks. I prefer to face Raza than Secret Mage or a Warlock deck.
Then you have the others high tier decks just waiting to overthrow the 3…some

My guess is they will nerf. At some point atleast. That or better cards show up making the entire deck obsolete…

As for nerfs. My hopes would go to a nerf to SoS.
SoS to 2dmg instead of 4 and Pen Flinger to 2mana.
Spawn dmg is to high. Priest is supposed to be about “value” and while a repeat like inspire could be called as such generally in practice its not.
PF is due to the card above and Seance.
Currently you’re in the 13ish mark with PF into seance. But if you have another random spell of 3or less you up it to 20.
Combine it with SoS you can hit past 40.

Well its just so I can keep Raza really.
Revert it to its nerfed status is optional.

Probably never. Blizzard has said (in more diplomatic terms) that they don’t care about Wild.

Imagine nerfing raza priest when ress priest is the most obnoxious archetype.

When I face a priest I hope it is raza, because at least I can play the game

The only class I tech to is priest in Wild in any deck or any class I play.
Poly, Hex, Devolving, Sap, Secrets, the demon that summons 3 1/1 for opp( in case I’m a class that lacks or I can’t afford to spare another card). The silence(s) in case of DH. Zeph always 4 poly or hex and when I main priest the concede button is my friend as I stay away fm rez mechanics…

I don’t care about my rank so just concede when I see the opponent playing priest. Even in standard. he number of boring games vastly outnumbers the fun ones. Warlock is getting to this point as well, though at least there’s a fair number of aggro archetypes running around.

Better nerf would be: first use of Hero Power each turn costs 0, each additional use that same turn if possible (like through Anduin’s Hero Power’s effect) costs 1.

Way too complicated and impossible to write on the card in a way that’s easily read on mobile.

Hardly, it requires just a couple more words: “Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, your Hero Power costs (0) this game once per turn, otherwise (1)”. Or something along those lines. Plenty of cards have more text.

Blood of G’huun is such a hateful card, especially when plucked out of nowhere with Shadow Essence, Grave Rune to escalate the issue further and it’s GG if you don’t have god tier clearance / polys. Fortunately I tech for both Raza and Ress decks, it’s always nice when they mass resurrect sheep, hexes and howlfiends!

Honestly I found a semi way to counter them as long you make them burn most their board removal on other cards, then before their combo turn Slap down these (or Res with Paladin)

Robes of Protection + Kobold Monk - and if they can’t target anything on you/the minion while unable to clear the board, you just won.

We need a card that destroys the enemy hero power. Let that one be printed!
Or like something with battlecry: your opponent hero power becomes “summon a 1/1 sheep”

Mindbreaker + Robes of Protection was the nearest I got to this, I may even pick this up again, Warlocks have even more draw available since I last played it. I briefly used the Grizzled Wizard and Sir Finley combo but simply removing their hand and deck from existence proved the more reliable option.

Yes but he can still kill mindbreaker with something.
Also grizzled wizard swaps hero powers only one turn, then he gets it again. But why finley? finley just changes your hero power not his. Or are you talking about Sir Finley of the Sands from paladin?

For countering raza priest I play tickatus and usually I burn some important cards of them. I also have Youthful Brewmaster to bounce Tickatus back and mill him again.

When will you stop playing Wild, if you can’t take it?

Play wild then cry, very funny people on the forum.

You play grizzled wizard and Finley on the same turn. It swaps hero powers, trades out your current hero power, then swaps back. They now have the one you discovered and you have your original one back.

You know, that would actually be really nice: a card that changes both players’ Hero Powers (so it can also screw you over). But it does so based on the current Hero Power, and modifiers (like Raza) stay.

Regular HP turns into another regular HP, upgraded HP turns into another upgraded HP, Galakrond turns into another Galakrond, non-Galakrond Hero turns into another non-Galakrond Hero, Quest Hero Power turns into another Quest Hero Power, and Ragnaros/Jaraxxus swap to the other.

Other kinds of Hero Powers, will be put in a tier that’s fair (AKA: Vilefin Inquisitor in the basic HP tier, Charged Hammer in the Upgraded HP tier, Sulfuras is exactly the same as Ragnaros so no need for special treatment, etc). Metamorphosis is difficult how to deal with that.

I feel like Spawn of Shadows isn’t problematic. Raza is though. They should just revert the buff. I don’t mind Shadowreaper Anduin either.
