When is dragon druid getting a Nerf?

Again the bias is here. This deck basically only loses to paladin so what happens during the next balance changes if paladin gets further nerfed. Im really sick and tired of excessive mana cheating decks and this class is again one of the biggest offenders and now has comeback mechanics so they can just ramp safely. They also pretty much beat any late game deck except priests.

Nice buzzword … maybe next time make sure it makes sense in what you are saying.
…
How exactly does Dragon Druid mana cheat
?

And Cleave Hunter. And Control Priest (with or without Reno), although you said that later.

The problem with Dragon Druid isn’t that it doesn’t have counters or that it wins too much overall. It’s that the deck is very polarizing. When Dragon Druid has a good matchup that matchup is probably something like 60-40 and when it has a bad matchup it’s probably something like 35-65. Overall that mostly evens out over the course of many games, but inside each individual game it rarely feels as if the game starts with both players on even footing.

Hmm on my run to legend this month, I was undefeated as mage in every dragon druid I faced off, and I faced a handful of them.

I’d say your premise is wrong, dragon druid is very much beatable by at least one other deck.

Doesn’t most everything lose to paladin these days though? Dragon druid has some pretty bad matchups, and I’d say mage might be one of them if you can discover multiple objections to at least get rid of some of their bigger dragons. It can snowball pretty quickly if you can’t control what they’re trying to do though. Hunters with rushing mega buffed beasts+bigger jormungar eat them pretty easily too. The 3/4 wall of dragons just helps them out heh.

FTFY

Druid class identity seems to be just dunking on people with big plays that cost more mana than “normal”

It could be ramp
It could be mana cheat
It could be doubling up (get both choose one effect, solar eclipse)

Then there’s their token stuff which usually involves synergie that allows for very cheap buffs for the mana cost, so in a way they’re also making a bigger play than “normal”. Currently say there’s that spell that gives +2/+2 to board and gets discounted by # of treants summoned.

Whatever the case, druid decks tend to dump some kind of big tempo-slash-combo on people. These combos you either can answer and the druid is usually screwed, or you can’t answer and get rolled over.

This isn’t something a nerf can fix. They would have to want to reimagine druid class identity.

Never. Dragon druid is balanced. It is just the hot deck of the moment. DK beats it with a 80% WR. You got so many board clears and life gain, DD cannot keep up! There I told u the sekret!

Uh…just play Highlander Shaman and beat them up. They present a few option to win with through the board during a game. The shaman deck can handle all of them with ease.

You’re only off by more than 30%.
