Can someone please explain how this card isn’t broken? I get DH isn’t the best atm. But this card easily does 8 damage x 2 (once to face) for 9 mana…and the body remains. The next turn kills another minion then N’zoth. So unbalance card ever
I think this card is op as hell, but honestly if you are to nerf this card, you would kill the deathrattle dh deck.
I think the nerf should be to lose the demon tag. That way it doesn’t get resurrected by nZoth or copied fortuitously. But I’m not convinced it really needs to be nerfed.
Is inquisitor overbudgeted, mana wise? Yes, as are most DH cards.
Will It be nerfed? Not untill It proves itself a problem.
I don’t have a problem with this card. Is it annoying? Yes. But, it’s an 8 drop (unless discounted). You know it’s coming. You have a bunch of turns to do what you need to prepare. Multiple taunts, disruption, etc.
I mean, I can see the frustration. DH can both spam wide and then go very tall and face. That’s hard to counter. Its kind of like if old school token druid had a charge finisher, or something (not that they’d ever do that).
It’s certainly explosive and part of the problem is certainly that it is easy to replicate (N’zoth, Felosophy from Illidari Studies is not at all hard to find.)
I’m not a fan of the idea of changing it. DH all last year was nothing but hard and fast face face face decks forever, but now it has pretty decent deck variety (the hell is Big DH?!) and is most well known for being dangerous late game. I like where they’re at at the moment.
Let me apply some of this forums tick logic to it.
No does not need a nerf because you have to attack face in order to trigger it’s ability.
it’s a charge windfurry minion that cannot be frozen and it’s a demon and you can discount it and it’s not a legendary it’s a rare… wtf?
It’s just a rush minion, it’s does not have any of those tags. Plus 2 taunts prevent it so just keep 2 taunts up easy.
Or my favorite logic on the forum, just drop there health to 0 before they do it. If you don’t win by turn 7 you are playing a greedy deck and deserve to lose.
does it attack when frozen? yes. does it attack twice? yes. does it go face the turn it played? hell yea… +playing control is being greedy and you deserve to lose noted… man you are a special cookie. i will get 2 taunts for 1 what about the other 3?.
Instead of always going face, just change it to a random enemy character. More balanced and would reward Demon Hunter for clearing the enemy board.
hmm but how are you making it attack the face twice the turn you play it …
you said “charge windfury”
by doing it you told us you found a way to do it !
and it can be frozen ive done it several times and survived thx to that because i didnt take 16 and took 8 instead
The logic behind Tick is that it’s performance isn’t there to warrant a nerf. Which for Warlock who almost doesn’t exist is a reason for it to not be nerfed.
I don’t know how DH is doing, but if it isn’t a problem in the meta, then it doesn’t need to be nerfed.
It’s strange people complain about II but in many ways Troublemaker is the same and it’s damage sticks around assuming they don’t attack into anything that could kill them.
Fireball is 4 mana 6 damage, avoids taunts and doesn’t need you to attack face. Wicked stab is potentially the same but 2 mana.
But yeah destroy demon Hunters chances of finishing off a game because you play a deck that loses to it.
If only there was a class that could go face easily and cheaply…
ah yes, just play 2 taunts 4Head
Are you really comparing fireball to II? They are two different cards, they have nothing in common
You’re right.
They’re way better.
giggles
No but really, the class needs a finisher. Do we really want to be nerfing a soft counter to Priest right now?
It’s very good card in a tier 2 deck. Without it the deck would be Tier 4 at best
for me the logic is
this is DH 1 and only tier 2 deck nerfing it would only decrease the number of viable decks for DH …there is nothing else to gain from it and no reason to do it either
