When exactly does Arena reset (in the future in general)?

Is it exactly whenever Standard gets new cards? I.e. only when a new expansion OR a new miniset is out?

A bit before it comes out, but after the reveals, so that people can get familiar with the cards before they come out…

Probably an attempt to attract players to Arena, because they avoid it due to botted accounts

I think that’s how it happened last time (a big Standard patch dropped and Arena saw the cards).

I wondered at that point if Arena is completely on autopilot. Code being like “just use the cards of Standard even if it’s not released yet in the UI but the cards exist internally”.

Though that’s probably wrong because they seem to have also done Arena changes with combined classes (“WarriorPriest” was hilariously good).

I think this is exactly how it works, because if you own a golden copy or two of some card you get in your arena run, it will be golden in your arena run as well

Wait. Could you always combine 2 classes in arena like this month? This is the first time I’m actually playing some Arena every day or two so I might had no idea about it.

It’s been known to happen from time to time, it lasts for a while and then they remove it
