This game used to be pretty fun with decision making, interesting decks and fun moments. Now it’s unplayable. They added an entire new class who only goes face that by default draws a ton of cards. Most games end before turn 10 so you don’t even draw a third of your deck. There are zero control decks or decks that require even half a brain. There are a ton of decks that add a ton of cards that weren’t previously in their deck to their hand making it impossible to play around cards. Cards like yoggs box just straight up coinflip games. I don’t know. This game used to be pretty fun and had a good balance. Now it seems like the most brainless autoplay cards simulator. Wins don’t feel satisfying I either draw well or I lose. There’s such little decision making. I can see why so many hearthstone players quit this game.
Galakrond Warlock is a control deck.
So barely 1 control deck ?
One is not zero. Your complaint was that there were zero control decks, not that there were few.
But if one is not enough for you, I would point out that according to the latest data from HSReplay, there are three Tier 1 decks currently in Standard: Galakrond Warlock, Tempo Demon Hunter, and Resurrect Priest. Warlock and Priest are both control decks, so that’s two control decks out of the three top performing ones. If you look at Tier 2 decks, you also have to add Spell Mage, Highlander Mage, Embiggen Druid, and Big Druid. So that’s an extra 2-4 control decks in the top 15, depending on whether or not you consider ramp Druid to be a control archetype.
Would it be better if there were more classes able to play a control deck? Sure! But the idea that control as an archetype doesn’t exist is a false one.
LOL. I feel this way. A bunch of brain dead decks. SMOrc 24/7 or Must Draw Kael’Thas or Die.
Warlock defining as a control deck seems off. But probably because I myself believe it can be other things. Priest feels like the only deck that is control because cards are purposely used to stall.
You could always make your own deck instead of complaining no one has made the deck you want to play
I can make whatever I want but if the meta is you die by turn 10 it doesn’t really matter what I try to make.

Today’s version of Capitalism sucks the maximum profits out of said product irrespective of whether it’s healthy for the product or not. It’s the same thing they are doing to Our planet.

I feel like, at this point, most people have become so good at the game that it’s really difficult to find a match that’s actually equal-footing. At least, for me. I seem to be stuck at the same rank forever :\
To me the amount of RNG involved in this game is just maddening. I’ve been on both sides. You need to draw that one card which turns certain defeat into an outstanding victory, and vice versa. Once in a while is okay, but its like every game now.
Decks like spell mage are just high roll decks. You lose based off pure luck from your opponent.
I’m an exclusive mage player and i don’t like spell mage. I call it the “self pleasure deck” 'cause that’s what it reminds me of. The other player just sits there while you amuse yourself.
