Games against priest in standard are a pain. Like 45mins a game and he just play against you with your own cards. It is like he is punishing you for having good cards in your deck. He have an unlimited amount of resources. I went into one that had no deck for like 12 turns and he pulled lethal with cards that was not in his deck. This is no fun. Like I’m considering just conceding if I saw one on ladder.
Curious: What deck were you running?
My bet: greedy blood dk.
That’s exactly my thought lol
The current Control priest is a little boring in slow match ups sure.
Playing against Priest and taking 45 minutes never happens on high level play unless it is a mirror (which doesn’t even take that long anymore). You should be aware by the 15th minute of the game if you are capable of winning the Priest by the way the game is going.
What is keeping you back is not the Control Priest archetype, but your fallacy of “every game is winnable”. If you have “lost” just concede and save yourself the time.
Meanwhile demon hunter has been a scamming uninteresting uninteractive pile of dung since release. When is IT getting nerfed?
If it takes them this long to beat you, they need a buff, not a nerf.
Bad matchup or skillissue.
45 minute games only happen if you yourself are playing thief priest and come across another and you both play Benedictus. Repeatatly. As such you yourself play Thief Priest.
Easly solved play bad cards.
Thats over a 100points of fatigue damage.
Don’t worry it will only get worse. They continue to feed greed priests with more and more generators every expansion.
The faster the concentration of greed the faster hearthstone will die.
Meanwhile dh draws their deck turn8 and has a hand full of kill you for no mana and a board with about 56/56 stats and locked your hand so you can only play left or right card
Control Priest is a horrible deck to play against. You play a faster deck and hope they don’t draw too well. I am where I want to be on the ladder for the month so I am playing Relic DH and focusing on the matches against Control Priest and Blood DK. It has been fun and they don’t feel as bad to play against with this deck. I would suggest trying an Undead Priest deck. It is fun and it is also good against control priest.
yea, because that’s always the problem. /eyeroll
It has absolutely nothing to do with the game choosing what cards you draw based on whats in their deck/hand and how many games they’ve lost before being matched with you. Mhm. sure. No, I can’t prove that because I’m not a programmer. But why else would a digital card game feel like that is what’s happening? I don’t have enough digits on my body to count how many times I’ve been able to predict a winning game based on how many in a row I’ve lost or conceded.
