Whelp Smuggler doesn’t seem to be buffing Dozy Whelp when Dozy’s attack is increased from being attacked.

The addition of HP is applied, regardless of it surviving or not. If the Attack is as much as to leave your minion on 0HP, Smuggler adds 1HP and it survives. If it doesn’t survive the HP is added to the minion’s HP pool anyway. BUt with the Dozy Welp it is not the case. The smuggler doesn’t add HP at all when it gain’s attack.

I can confirm Whelp Smuggler does not buff Dozy Whelp multiple times as described by OP. I just a played a round where Dozy Whelp gained over 10 attack but only health once. Also, when hovering over Dozy Whelp it shows Whelp Smuggler buff without an “x” amount whereas Nether Drake showed x10 of attack buff. This mechanic I’m guessing would work similar to buffing Molten Rock elemental with Arm of the Empire minion but is not working.
I can also comfirm this. It buffs dozy whelp during the combat but buffs arent permenant.

whats makes you think the health buff is a perma buff?

It is permanent when the attack is permanent. When it gains attack temporary, the the HP doesn’t remain post fight.
only the atk is a perma buff, the health is only gained during combat, and lost once its over, whelp smuggler says nothing about the buff being perma
Yeah but why it works with Nether Drake? He gives perma Attack, Smuggler gives all dragon then deff, but not with dozy??? makes no sense to me, sorry.
That’s because Nether Drake’s effect happens at the end of the turn, not during combat.
Unless specified, in-combat effects are lost at the end of combat.
