Hi i was just curious to know has there been an date released for when the next expansion will release i know its a long way away i was just curious.
The classic rework i am really looking forward to it.

This is very interesting because historically, the first expansion launches in April of the calendar year. It seems that the earlier that usual release of Madness of the Darkmoon Faire might have influenced this.

I think theyre trying to get to March/July/November though, to prevent “emergency nerf” situations in December 'cos Xmas break. Deans comment, along with two consecutive Dec. emergency nerf situations, supports my theory.

Could it be that the Blizzcon schedule change caused them to change the expansion releases to be able to announce an expansion for Blizzcon this month?

thats very possible. depending on when the world championship will be held moving forward (if we assume it continues in december) then it would also make sense to have the set release in november to ensure players have time to optimize their decks before the tournament

Assuming expansion will be after the Masters Tour, then it could be late Mar - early April…
