This is a running topic on the CompetitiveHS subreddit. As most of you probably don’t use Reddit for reasons, I thought I’d ask you all here. What is and what isn’t working for you right now (post-patch release)?

Everything is working for me so far.
Somehow though, I’m up dust again. I’ve lost one copy of savoury deviate delight for some reason.

BG’s seems fun. I got first place with Al alkir first go. Only one guy got tier 6 but the game wasn’t shorter than I’d expect and nobody was doing damage en masse.

Only a few rounds of duels so far…I made a weapon rogue and I’m doing well. The lovely thing is that I can play cloak, Scabb’s, and ace in the hole them plus vanish is allowed so I’m just making opponents concede.

I haven’t been playing lately but I really want to get a beast/secret hunter deck working well after this patch. Pretty sure I will be top 10 legend with it by Friday.

With rogues and mages less likely to close out games by turn 7 now, it feels like there’s a lot more breathing room for tempo and midrange decks to enter. Hunter, Shaman and DH will probably see a bump. Priest is still trash tier and handlock is likely to feast until the meta shifts back to more aggro-y, all or nothing decks.

Priest is doing just fine in this meta now.

Awesome that they actually managed to make the meta even worse. Hand Lock and Libram Paladin is back just as expected, Poison Rogue is still just as bad as before, at Diamond 1-5 we seem to have a resurgence in Priest. Overall a garbage meta became even worse.

After some tests it looks like beast hunter is not that good today as it looked for me yesterday. Face is probably still the most competitive hunter deck at legend.

Sad.

Hey and where’s Tavish part of the story, does anyone know when to expect it?

Yeah I did run a few games with beast hunter in legend. It certainly is more interesting to play than face. I hope that the new meta shakes out to where beast hunter becomes a really good deck.

Ps- i was joking about top ten. I won’t be anywhere remotely close to that.

I’m going to attempt building a Belly Warrior, with big minions that have board controlling abilities. Abominable Lieutenant, Lothar, and Runaway Blackwings should be formidable.

Any suggestions for other similar minions?

I’d drop the herald. You really don’t want to pull it from a grunt or commencement. Maybe a Brawl?

I wasn’t thinking when I added the Herald. I replaced it with Kresh. Thank you. Also added Rokara the Valorous. Here’s the list now. Lots of armor which synergizes with Shield Slam and Shield Shatter.
