What's a good deck that can outplay/comeback?

I started playing again this week and I was able to craft the deathrattle demon hunter deck. The deck is fun but it doesn’t seem like it has much in the way of getting back tempo if it falls behind.
It doesn’t have any powerful board clears or much room to outplay. You kinda just pray for a decent hand and card draw to establish tempo, but if the other player gets tempo I find it really hard to bounce back from.
Like the shaman card that costs 1 and overcharge 1 and wipes my entire board, or the warrior spell that does 5 damage for 1 mana if you have a pirate, which doesn’t seem like much of a requirement. The deathrattle deck doesn’t seem to have much like that and tbh I feel kinda helpless if I lose tempo with a bad hand.
Is the fel demon hunter deck any good? I can craft it and I really like the demon hunter in general, just looking for something that has more versatility.

Edit: I’m sitting at 17-11 currently so I’m in the positive, but it feels like when I lose I REALLY lose. I played against a hunter a couple games ago that won on turn 5 lol

DR DH seems to be pretty good, at least accoring to Vicious Syndicate.

I just faced a mage that turn 5 used confection cyclone and summoned 3 elementals
then on turn 6 used hot streak into grand finale and summoned 4x 8/8. Like what the hell am I even supposed to do against that??? How tf is that even fair lol like what class can actually deal with that???

Cult Neophyte is neutral. Play it the turn they play multiple elementals, and their entire plan folds.

Also, a board of 8/8s does nothing immediately. If you’re mounting constant pressure they might not have the opportunity to sit back like that.

I played that deck for a while and it just hard loses vs anything fast and aggressive, shadow priest, facehunter, poison rogue , ele shaman etc.

Fel Demonhunter is decent against other decks and has quite alot of potential for swing turns thanks to its lifesteal package and Jace Darkweaver.

Deathrattle Demonhunter is also a decent deck but there’s nothing more soul destroying than letting a shaman ruin your day by killing your whole board and potentially your whole hand with a single cast of Perpetual Flame. With all the Quest shamans running around right now, I would be wary of running DR DH at the moment.

that deck is nasty, I had a match where my opponent highrolled me on turn 5 summoning 3 6/7 taunt dudes. lol what I do with my Shaman spells which only deals 3 damage

You got highrolled.
Also, warrior

17/11 is 60% WR. Its very very good, you’ll hardly find something with more WR in standard.

For context, a Tier 1 deck can usually expect 53-55% WR across a large number of matches.

If you’re doing better than 55% WR, complaining about not doing even better feels greedy.
